    I bet 50% of the guys in the gym i go to use anabol (and stronger drugs) at times, but i don't see them (or myself) getting even close to doing that kind of bench pressing.

  • some of you should click on the link of ronnie coleman who other than arnold is arguably considered the greatest bodybuilder of all time. He displays the exact same form as this dude in this video and appears to bench less! Bodybuilders do lift less but this guy deserves some credit!

  • Shawn actually visited the gym I go to. I personally saw him bench 675lbs for 12 reps. He was going to try 8 plates a side (765 lbs) but the gym owner was actually worried the bar would break. Incredible lifter.

  • Mate when your bench pressing most of the power comes from your legs. Your triceps and chest are worked but not nearly as much as your legs.

    1 - not touching your chest is even harder. you go down to about an inch or two above your chest and your doing maybe 2-3 reps less than you can touching your chest. locking out is not good for your elbows. and even if he did touch his chest and lock out, youre still looking at 20 reps.

  • Well they dont really care about appearances they will gain weight just so they can gain more muscle strength to push up heavier weights, thats usually a key difference in bodybuilding and powerlifting, bodybuilding is about trying to look huge and muscular, and pwoerlifting is about trying to get up as much weight as you can through just about any means necassary and not really caring about if they appear fat as long as they lift a lot.
