His the voice of Deep Purple, while he was singing so well , & his voice sounded so great , his old band made that crap Slaves & Masters piece of shit. Was so dissapointed when i opened up that cassette tape, not not see his photo in it .

IN ROCK---SCARABUS---GILLAN---MR...UNIVERSE---BORN AGAIN---TOOLBOX......are gillan at his very best,the vocals on this album are brutal! there is not a bad track on it,very underrated........

Ian sounds very good on this album throught . But i'm not sure he can come close to this kind of singing again & hitting those high notes. The band tour far to much, not so good for his voice. I enjoy the way he sings on this, Perfect Strangers and House Of Blue Light, mainley.

best bootlegs from toolbox era:bucharest 1992(dvd) and munich 1991 (cd).Gillan scream as a monster in these live albums.Everyone should have these fire-performance!
