It's like a tapestry of the Spy/Secret Agent business

The only downside is, to see the complete (read: enormous) scope of the story, you'd have to play all the games, which would take years lol

Get the Essential Collection. Even though it is not available outside of Europe, at E3 Kojima anounced the essential collection outside of NA. If not you could always import it. It come with MGS, MGS2 Twin Snakes, and MGS3 subsistence

What exactly do you mean? If you mean that the fixed camera is a bit annoying than I have to say that there is a different version of MGS 3 (MGS 3 Subsistence) which has a non fixed camera.

i didnt know substinence had a "camera" fix version. its too bad i sold my playstation ha ha. i heard a rumor over on ign that guns of the patriot could see a 360 release, but i dont think it'll happen. i love xbox and play and collect primarily on this platform, and i love games that have sequels and such, so im really hoping the metal gear collection...at least the console games will see an xbox release. until then though, splinter cell has everything i need when it comes to stealth-action lol

If you choose MGS1, Stamina goes down faster, and Snake is shaved in the first cutscene. Ig you choose MGS2, you get the Raiden mask, and if you choose MGS3, you get several new facepaints and camos.
