Of all the 'changes' Delta has made- Ron Allen colors, the Wavy Gravy/DeltaFlot look, and now the Citgo ripoff, I don't see why they bothered.

Delta was (and still is) an excellent airline.

I don't see why they ever had to change. The should go back to the way they were in the 80's- down home, friendly, *profitable*, and well respected.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

why is it that Delta always changes their paint scheme every couple years after they emerge from bankruptcy or some sort of company issues... I think Delta has changed paint schemes like 5 times in my 21 years of life... that's more times than most airlines have within their 70+ year history (i.e. American-which have had the same scheme since the 70s)

it's becuase when a large company makes a big change, like a huge merger (not an acquisition) you have to change it in order to keep people's minds fresh, showing them that you are "new" and Delta has done that enough times, only this time they have done it right, i think

This is a brilliant commercial.. It addresses the stark reality of the airline business, the need to innovate and change and the is spliced in two parts, we could look back or we could go forward. It's uplifting, it's fast paced, it carries a huge message in 1min. Great job to the people that made this ad.

yeh good point, and delta does rock, im british and usaully fly with Virgin atlantic or British Airways but we fly to america all the time for holiday or to see family and they live all over the US so to see them all we have to fly across and we've tried them all, United, AA, virgin america, they were all either delayed flights or didnt like the airline but we always fly delta now as they are always reliable and welcoming garunteed :)

This video has great meaning to those whos familys like mine that depend on a big fat delta paycheck. it refers to the new delta now that they have come out of debt (they almst declared bankrptcy and were almost bought by another airline). delta will now improve alot in every area, the peaple of delta have done a grea job, way to go delta.

The majority of that commercial was filmed at Logan Airport in Boston. The bleak part at the beginning was filmed in Terminal A before they renovated it and the old Delta location at Terminal C. The brighter part is filmed in the newly renovated Terminal A which is home primarily to Delta, Delta Shuttle, and Delta Connection.
