  • quality, made me dig out my old albums, whats your fav album to play? p.s don't apologise for any mistakes and please forgive any other you-tubers for correcting you! you have my respect.

  • Nice touch with Fretless!

  • This is excellent...very good job!!!!

  • I would have liked a few more seconds devoted to heron House (one of my favorite hooks ever) but wow! this is an amazing thing to do!

  • genial...!!!

    O_O

  • Desde luego, un gran resumen de la carrera de REM, quizás la unica pega haberlo hecho en dos veces para dejar sonar algo más las canciones. En todo caso, Enhorabuena. Congratulations for your job and thanks from Spain.

  • Even if you didn't know all the songs (as I do), you would probably notice the shift in style at around 3:50 (Out of time).

  • Good job, man. :)

  • Fucking excellent im very impressed :-)

  • EXCELENTE SON SOLO 75 PIEZAS DE ARTE DE LAS CASI 2OO QUE CONFORMAN TODA ESA OBRA DE ARTE LLAMADA R.E.M.

  • what have you done to Fretless... :( no E major there! and to until the day is done. but no worries, still quite a lot of job done. and good tone.

  • @qba5775 is it not E major? :O My bad, though I worked most of these out myself so some of them won't be entirely accurate. 'Until The Day Is Done' half sounds like 'Houston' as well, I wasn't sure which one to put on the label, haha.

  • Your 7 Chinese Brothers cover was SPOT ON with the album version. Great job! I wonder if anyone has a cover of Cuyahoga on bass. That was by far Mike Mills's best bass line ever. I think What's The Frequency,Kenneth was actually recorded w/ one of Kurt Cobain's guitars.

  • @GAdawgsfan93 wow, thanks. =]

  • @GAdawgsfan93 WTF Kenneth was recorded with Peter's LP; he used Kurt's Duosonic for the video. Mike Mills recorded the guitar riff of Let Me In with the Duosonic, though, and used the same guitar for the song live.

  • Your welcome!

  • This is great! Thanks so much; you made my day!

  • Wow!!!

  • In Begin the Begin should be F#m.

  • @radiopizza I had to figure most of these out, so pardon me if they're a bit off.

  • @SeanSM92 most are off, but no worries about the B the B, it's the closest to 'the truth', and F# major not minor for sure. Only some open E and B strings, but over F# [major]. Nice Ric, nice tone, maybe a little little bit too much bridge tone on that recording. Work on your skills 'cause you can be really good at this. #1 Clue: Life and How to Live It is in Open G tuning...

It's been kinda nice trip through the years...

  • @radiopizza your ass should be F#m.

  • @qba5775 I love you too.

  • Damn!

Very well cover of WTFK Star 69 and Strange Currencies!

Do you have full versions of them?

  • You're great, i really liked it! Gooooo R.E.M.!

  • WoW... That is really I can say. I just watch this in amazement. I am working through REM's stuff myself. I am learning Sidewinder Sleeps Tonight, The One I love, Drive, Driver 8, So. Central Rain, Everybody Hurts, Try Not to Breathe, Radio Free Europe. That is kind of my project. learn all of those songs. Eventually I want to do others from Automatic for the People, and then What's the Frequency Kenneth, and Bad Day. I will see. It's all about practice. And doing 8 songs is already alot!

  • cool! you have mad skills.

  • currently working my way through rem's riffs on a rickenbacker. this is excellent. what are you playing through?

  • @joeyramonestwin thank you, it's through a low-budget Line 6 in this video… not exactly the best amp to be paired with this instrument, but a little time spent turning the knobs can still result in fairly nice sounds (I got a much better tone in my cover of "1,000,000")

  • Dang! Love it!

  • Thanks. That was pretty fun

  • Gorgeous!!! Excellent! :)

  • Sorry, this is Circumpunk..pinksunami is my wife's channel I forgot where I was your piece disoriented me so!! Again, thanks bro!!

  • What a disorienting masterpiece! How you kept this all straight in your mind only god knows. Thanks bro!!

  • Well done, indeed.

  • I am not fan of R.E.M. I just was using this to search a song. Anyway, congratulations for this and 5 stars.

  • You're my hero.

  • Wow!!

  • NICE!

What was the song between "Bang and Blame" and "I Took Your Name?"

  • Thanks! It was the instrumental that follows "Bang And Blame" on Monster. :)

  • Oh, okay.

  • You helped me end my search for an REM song I just COULD NOT remember what that song was, it was "Stand", thanks! And you are very talented.

  • You could be my guitarist any day

  • Great considering you play them back to back!

  • now I'm your fan ;D

  • Unbelieveble. Really, really nice!

  • That's pretty cool, man

  • Great job!
