  • If you know you are Hmong then Shut the Fu*k up. You should respect all your Hmong family! See this is the reason why we Hmong don't have a country because we don't reunite but instead arguing about stupid topic and put one another down. Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We should all held each others hand and be proud of who we are.

  • All you people are stupid arguing about background. I'm a Hmong and I'm proud of who I'am. I don't talk shit or say shit about my Hmong people. Doesn't matter where all the Hmong fled to the world. Under one tree we are still family. Who cares about who's right or who's wrong. Get it straight people, it doesn't matter if you're Green or White. Whatever last name you have, if we go back to history of Hmong/Miao we all come from the same root. The dialect is different depend on the region.

  • If we lives over 100 years in the US like the Hmong people lives in China, I'm sure that we will being treat properly by the American people like the chinese people treats the Hmong. We the Hmong people have not been to the US for long and we all doing just fine.

  • what is hmong? Just googled it online and found it's just MiaoZu in Chinese. Why bother use thiis? MiaoZu is a big group in China and has a lot of benefits as a minority. So don't fool around here against China. Look at the singer, is she under pressure? She's beautiful and making her own album!

  • in the begainning did she say los ncig teb chawv suav ncig dej tsawg tshag

  • kuv tus honey paub tus me ntxhais no zoo kawg li nws mas zoo nkauj kawg thiab kawm ntawv siab kawg nws yuav txiv lawm nws yuav nom tswv suav tus tub no good kawg kuv tus txiv twb tau mus nrog nws txiv lawv noj ib pluag mov ua ke no

  • can some one tell me her name plse???

  • nov twb tsis yog lus hmoob es

  • @nrhiavkevzoosiab

Ayouduo yog Hmoob tabsi hauv zaj nkauj nov nws hais lus Suav.

  • People been talking about shes Hmong? Is her dad Hmong or her dad Chinese?

Or isn't her mom Chinese or Hmong?

  • she's so beautiful I am envious

  • Is she Hmong chinese or what?

  • @KaliaLee03 In a way, yes. Basically we have 3 branches, Hmong(western), Hmu(central) and A-hmao(eastern) (A-hmao is also known as Gho Xiong). Ayouduo is Hmu. There is some similarity in our dialects. It is not known for sure if we spoke the same language in the beginning or if we always had different dialects.

  • @AtarashiNOhi Ayouduo is Qos Noog, which speak the same language as the Hmub. A-Hmao are actually western and are closer to Hmong. Gho Xiong is different and are closer to the Qos Noog/Hmub speakers.

  • thumb UP if

    ethnic:yes

Chinese :fooouck youuu communist bureaucrats !!

Chinese people: Don't thump this up

Rest of ethnic People: Thump this UP!!

  • @bizirain You are silly, Miao people in China live aver happy life, why should they have any connection with you guys as refugees in US?

  • @IwasUnknownUser

That's the most stupid comment ever. You probably have never been to China. Do you know that the Hmong people have the strongest tie to their own people in China? Don't post stupid comments ever again.

  • @niamtxiv You probably know nothing about China, haha, Pathetic people in US just imagine the world. Can you speak Chinese or Miao dialect? Maybe you can only speak English and local Laos language. Miao is specifically refering to Chinese Miao ethnic, Hmong is a very vague term used by some narrow-minded Miao descents who fled out Laos and moved to America, but some of them are used as spies and agents to do some penetration in China.

  • @IwasUnknownUser , people are not stupid. But Miao in China has very good social status and are well treated, nit like Hmong in US are marginalized and utilized as tools to harm Chinese social stability. In simple words, you are American citizens and not Chinese, you maybe have some cultural and blood relations with Miao in China, that's all.

  • @IwasUnknownUser

Everywhere I go, I see your pathetic comments. Why is that? How old are you?

  • Some Hmong People are very confusing about the word Miao. Miao is Hmong Chinese only. Do not use the word Miao to call Hmong Lao, HMong thai, Hmong American, and Hmong etc. Miao is belong to Chinese Hmong. LaoSou is belong Hmong Lao. Chinese is belong Hmong American. If you are in America, they call you Chinese every where you go. Only small of number of people call you Hmong.

  • I don't think people can call a Hmong person Chinese in America! They only think you are Chinese and consider you as a Chinese if you don't correct them when they make the mistake, which some people don't because they want to be Chinese!

And I have NEVER heard Hmong Lao being called LaoSou...I asked some Lao people at work and they say Lao people call Hmong people MiMiao!

But it doesn't matter on what others calls Hmong. It matters what they call themselves-HMONG!

  • @lilymoua You are not Chinese, you are non-Chinese, but Chinese Miao are Chinese, it is very simple fact, don;t be so stupid, you are not recognized by other people.

  • @sysu1 the word miao was a word use by the chinks for barbarians u know that right or a nicer way to put it would be indigenous people of the south-western frontier. the word miao isnt hmong chinese so i think ur confuse but w/e i dont care.if a white person call u chinese and ur not call them a british bitch y? there ancestor were from england as our ancestor were from china

  • @itzAcutie You are make some stupid confusion, Miao was a name given by Miao people in China, every ethnic in China has very equal rights than you can imagine, that's why you are talking sour words, you are refugees in the west., pathetic people.

  • please if she was hmong why she never sing in hmong like the other hmong suav girls

  • @kazz143 it a unique languages, there are gona be some words u are going to understand and some ur not, that their language back there and who knows that could be our ancestors language idk to many hmong are scatter everywhere to many unique language, hell i dont even understand the hmong in vietnam language only a few. u were born with wat langauage u were taught to speak but doesnt mean every word is going to be different

  • Guys if you really wanna know if miao and hmong are really the same do some research, many of you may not know this but many hmong from america and americans a few years ago went to china to find the origin of hmong, and history and found that hmong is actually miao according to the chinese. I think the lang is ver similar, even the clothing. Hmong were the earliest people to originate in China before the chinese took over and seperated all hmong into different groups hope never to unite again.

  • @lovely1lover You are right. I'm Hmong and I believe that Miao are Hmong, too, but I heard that the timeline went like this. We people used to be European until the Chinese tell their daughters to marry our people than later, we become Miao. When we become Miao, we Miao, fought with the Chinese people. When we lost the war, some of our people moved to Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam. Than later, some of us became Hmong and Miao. So I do believe that, Miao is Hmong and Hmong is Miao.

  • @Codename155025 wow thats very interesting, I am Hmong as well, and I never heard that yet. where did you learn that from, umm idk but I also heard that during war, some hmong left to the chinese side thats why they were known as miao. But not completely sure. Just a story thru elders.

  • @lovely1lover I learn that history from my father, uncles, brothers, and relative. I believe that because I sometime have natural blondie hair so, I think that we Hmong are European and if u don't believe me, go to google and type Hmong people with natural blonde hair. One of my Hmong teacher is full Hmong but somehow, she had natural orange hair but anyway, thanks for your information lovely1lover. ;)

  • @Codename155025 I agree, i did some research 2 , but some of my teachers told me it might just be due to lack of nutrition or albinism(look it up if you don't know) but idk becuz many of my aunts were born with red/orange hair even though their parents have black hair, but i somewhat do believe some of our ancestors could've been European. But their's just not enough evidence or history on the hmong people to really state anything. We can only depend on oral tradition, legends, and myths. thx

  • @lovely1lover you're right. there are not enough evidence or history but, one of my brothers had a timeline of my family and first generation of Hmong but, anyway. We don't know yet but in the future, we might know if Hmong first generation are European if.... we do some research about it. you're welcome and thank you lovely1lover

  • She is part of the Miao people. And yes. She is somewhat Hmong. Her people moved out of China during the same time as the Hmong people did. The Hmong people are also consider the Miao people. Notice how some words are pronounce in Hmong.

  • Is this language standard mandarin?

  • yeah its Mandarin

  • So is Ayouduo singing in Hmong or Chinese for this song?

  • @misspakouda I believe it's mandarin. But, I'm Hmong, and I can depict similarities in the language. Mandarin & Hmong both use intonation. Pretty cool. =)

  • all i know is that she has the most beautiful voice and i have all her dvd

  • I thought about redoing this song in HD but notice how stupid some people are. I guess to some people the earth cracked 40 years ago and Hmong came out of the ground bent on fight the communist.

  • what a rich culture, loving the song( not understanding much, at all ) but loving her voice.

  • hmong and miao are all the same people.unglyestprince69cprobably think becuz they speak more mostly chinese.but please dnt compare them both we are all one

  • unglyestprince69 is not right

  • She's soooo beautiful! proud of my miao and hmong people.

  • Actually the Miao Language is mixed with the Hmong Language about 20-40% not Mandarin. The Hmong Language is mixed with Mandarin about 10-30% this includes the Hmong American as well...

  • If you Miao/Hmong you should know that Hmong is mix=ed with CHinese. Unless you don't know to speak then yes you have no clue. Go do your research...

    No Sweat.

  • Omg, you are stupid. We have no history? What is wrong with you. lolol You need to reeducate yourself. lol

  • ugly, if you read the hmong history then you will know how the Miao came about. we call ourself hmong but the han call us Miao. and ofcourse a few century went by , and the suppression of the han govt. over hmong ID had been succome into the han culture. we only been in the US for 3o some years and the youngsters in this country can't even speak Hmong already.
