That is absolutely outrageous. New York is considered a "liberal leftist secular progressive" state, and 20k is the top bracket?

If that's a very "liberal" state, then Sweden (where I live, but an American citizen voting in NY) is so socialist that Republicans should be voting to nuke us.

The problem isn't the entire state, it's in the state capitol of Albany.

Our state senate and house of representatives are still solidly under REPUBLICAN/CONSERVATIVE control. Meaning they obviously still bleed working people dry to appease their wealthy patrons and constituents until the cows come home.

The GOP has never once cared about the working man since their patron saint Ronnie Reagan was in the White House.
