nice vid, last time I flew across the pond was in 96' with BA. Been in Orlando for 23yrs (Cardiff originally) and all I can say is, best to come here Oct-Apr for the good weather (and go to the west coast for the best beaches).

@SuperKopite96 It wasn't bad actually when I flew with them. It was a sunday dinner sorta meal but asthough it was microwaved food for easy heating. Tasted nice. The only problem I have is they give you cheesecake after *vomits* lol. They gave us a chocolate after. All in all it was nice

went in 1 if those a few years ago to orlando and there woz a hole in the seat, the staff told me to turn my iPhone off and put it in the bak of the seat it fell in the hole as we were takin off lol (I gt it bak after a week) lmfao!

we used to fly twice a year to orlando with virgin, and had done for 12 years or so but over the years i have found them increasingly snobby, the food becoming too puh-fleur (the amount of uneaten food is criminal!) and the inflight entertainment not working on many of the flights (we economy flyers deserve no less!) a 12 odd hour flight does get boring.

on the upside, the checkin available at the disney resort is an absolute must do and will save hours of queuing at the airport.

we used to stay at the wyndham on international drive (fully recommended place to stay 5 minutes from all the central attractions) until we got a villa at winter park.

i now live in new zealand but for the last couple of years we found the american carriers to be as good as virgin, and generally prices were lower.

today i won't use anyone else than Air New Zealand who are cheap, offer excellent service, 4" more legroom than virgin and whose crew are far more approachable than virgins crew

Its quite common to depart Orlando in cloudy/rainy conditions if your flight is leaving late afternoon. Florida gets almost daily rain and lightning storms due to the tropical climate.

Ive been delayed on the tarmac a couple of times while we waited for storm clouds to clear the airport

I remember when I got of the Virgin plane at Orlando, we got a coach to our hotel in disney, and as we entered the highway a massive virgin 747 came flying over us. Beautiful sight.

These videos are all good and well but , if i was going to make flight movie i would cover the leg room and and facilities of the plane not the view out of the window. If you did that you'd probaly get more views and comments as i thought you may have shown that. i fly on virgin in 3 weeks to California and i'm over 6FT so i'm interested in the space you get.

Im going for my 10th time to Florida, flown with Virgin seven out of the 9 so far. The economy class gives you a decent amount of a leg room, however if your going premium economy (would suggest it) you get quite a bit and its so much quieter and relaxed. Only found out what it was like because we got upgraded for free because we were the only ones who didn't complain about them having to fix the engine meaning we had to wait till the next day to fly.

yep the premium economy prices are ridculous at the moment, 9 hours is bad enough for me because i hate flying, Also i think virgin has the second biggest leg space in economy behind american airlines however at least with vigin your guarenteed to get there safely.

thats pretty cool. We fly upper class and premium economy on virgin all the time because my dad is always using virgin to fly from logan to heathrow because of his work. One time we needed to fly economy, because he did not have enough miles to upgrade all of us and my grandparents, who were coming along, to upper class or premium economy and when i got into the economy seat i was supprised to see how nice it was.

The plane might be the same manufacturer ie. BOEING but the enignes are Rolls Royce Trents on the 763 and GE engines on the 744 VS

BA use the same type of engine on there 744s as they do on there 767/757 the rolls RBs :) Thats what your thinking of as VS have GE 744 engines but the RR ones are better as are BA over VS.

It's not the focus. There was a huge amount of condensation on the window and it was very difficult to see out even on the climb up and yes the engine sound was great.

last year we flew with Virgin for a fantastic 2 weeks holiday in Orlando and would definately recommend virgin to anyone. On the way out to Orlando we were delayed 28 hours and Virgin put us up in the Hilton Gatwick Airport which was great you wouldn't get that with you cheapo airlines. I have flown with Virgin 3 times and will again in the future. Also recommend United Airlines from Heathrow to JFK flew on a 777 for the very first time very comfortable and the cabin crew were very nice.

Yeah couldn't agree more! We were seated in economy in a small section of only four rows, just behind premium. I highly recommend it because it was so quiet and relaxing.

when i went on virgin atlantic in 2004 we were on a 747-200 which was very nice.except the crew were absolutely rude and shouted at a girl when she wasnt well.but on the way back it was a lovely flight and the crew were very very kind ;)
