@arignumb I personally would go for my X-mini 2's, the rock-it is awesome and quite the innovation as is the vulcan solo, they are cool since you can get different sounds off different surfaces, wood lends to a nice bassy sound. the x-mini though is very clear and produces some decent bass as well, this little thing can really put out a ton of sound for its size.

Notice no one reviewing any of these things that say they are good say they have a good home stereo and/or how it compares. I bought some thing that looks like dual mini speakers and it was hardly better than the speakers already on my phone. Ill still go out and buy a mini brand just so I can laugh harder next time I see one of these vids saying how good that cheap Hollow tin sound that isn't louder than running water is.

@ThatSnazzyiPhoneGuy To be honest I have a decent Bose system for my home sterio, Im running a pretty nice JL setup in my car. I have X-mini 2's and I have a Vulcan Solo vibration speaker.

This unit (I have the latest pill shaped one that sorts all your complains btw) is actually VERY nice.

The vulcan solo sounds great and bassy on wood, but this speaker on a large box is just incredible how much sound pushes out of it and the clarity thereof, especially for the price point.

Your X-mini is just like the Veho 360 I have, it has the same buttons and everything, too bad the wire keeps stripping on the aux cord. Ive broke 2 of em.... They are amazing but fragile.

@NCT1 How? They are not even remotely similar? You ever looked at a Nook? It looks like paper. Some people don't mind an LCD screen (you may not), but its really harsh on my eyes. The iPad is great, but it feels like you're reading a computer screen. With the nook, it is a much more immersive experience. It feels like real paper. I like both. :)
