  • this isn't from bursting out, is from madison square garden with tony williams on bass

  • Madison Square Garden 1978, I believe. This performance is incredible.

  • Just finishing a bottle of Johnnie Walker Red Label, and it couldn't be with more appropriate song than this!!! The song with 0 dislikes!!! There are very few of them on Youtube these days!

  • 0 dislikes!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUU!!!

  • Proof positive that bald men can play guitar, too! Huzzah!

  • I saw them twice in concert. Absolutely amazing astonishing performance --- they are incredible.

  • What concert is this? I LOVE it and wanna see if I can buy it on dvd. I've seen it on tv before, long time ago. Any info would be awesome.

  • That guitar intro...!!

  • Love this tune! One of my favorites on an all-time Classic Album. (Yes, audio goes & comes) but a Great performance of song. Plus audio is actually not that bad once the small problem straightens out. Not bad at all. Thanks for posting. : )

  • i think modern bands think that tattoos make them larger than life.

  • It's Tony Williams on bass - John Glascock was ill for the duration of the tour.

  • Are you sure it's from Bursting Out? The piano line is NOT the same. I know because I play it.

  • @MrFujicat Of course I'am sure!

  • This is the greatest thing I have ever seen!

  • The Eagles are in the R&R Hall of Fame and not these guys?

  • @dougvdzz

Agreed. Tull were HUGE and unbelievably talented - bit weird but I loved them and they deserve hall of fame status.

  • The audio is fucked when he first starts singing, but fortunately it gets better.

  • I agree. Thought I had lost it but found it again thanks.

  • I've just watched about every utube vid of the live performances of this track...I think this is the best performance...

  • @YorksOwn I agree, haven't heard Tull in a loonngg time!

  • This is from their Bursting out recorded in Italy, so the line-up is that of 1978, with John Glascock, David Palmer and Barriemore Barlow.

  • @Pofazovics thanks for this information.

  • @Pofazovics Sorry 'Bursting out' was recorded in the 'Festahalle' in Bern Switzerland. There is the announcement at the begining of the album. Besides I was at the concert.

  • @RonAlmeida Ooooh! Thank you very much for this precious information and I apologize all because of the misinformation! I should have paid more attention to the speaker.

I am envious of you. It could be a really great performance! I was left out: I was only 11 at that time and live some 1000 kms to east.

  • @Pofazovics Switzerland was quite a favourite haunt of Tull those days saw him many times there. On second thoughts the whole album may not have been recorded in Bern but could have been also done at other venues on the same tour.
