This is designed to introduce a communist world government. This is just a way to make the U.S. pay other countries for the priveledge of using fossil fuels in industries; it will be far cheaper to buy "carbon credits" (just the name is obscenely ridiculous in my opinion) from countries that are poor and do not have a manufacturing base, than it would to upgrade emission controls.

That was hyperbole — but the.... threat from climate change is all too real. Yet the deniers are choosing, willfully, to ignore that threat, placing future generations of Americans in grave danger, simply because its in their political interest to pretend that theres nothing to worry about.

I've been following the politicians in Brussels for quite some time. It is an outrage. But what ever they try to do, they will not succeed in the long run.
The bigger an empire is, the faster and harder it will fall. It is impossible to manage with the size of the global population.
I think there are several inter linked agendas here. One is to manage the population growth, second is obviously to cut down on consumption of resources. haha
Controlling population growth is a fair idea, but it will eventually control itself. Just like the number of fish can live in a pond, so are humans on earth. Food shortage and health problems kill of a lot. Pretty terrible, but thats how nature works.
When you think about it, it is a fair argument that everyone would be better of if we were only 500 million to 1 billion here at the time.

ah the two biggest polluters not getting on...i would be a lot greener if solar panels and wind turbines were cheaper...i live in a very bad insulated council house that is probably one of millions that need making greener and more insulated (less use of heating)..give us little peeps who want to go greener but ant loaded with money a chance to do so ....there will be no treaty as obama and brown are too busy fighting to be the big dog. i thought it was about the enviroment not egos??
