IQ - No Love Lost

I have just about every studio album IQ have released except from those with Menel singing - are they worth getting? I'm a fan of Peter Nicholls' voice as much as I am of the band's music.

I think they're pretty good actually. More - pop (for want of a better word) - but still IQ there, and some beautiful lyrics and melodies.

I've always thought the songs from the two Menel albums were often the best moments in IQ concerts. Are there any live videos with Paul Menel?

This band is something like what Genesis would probably have evolved into had Gabriel and Hackett stayed and Collins not led them in a commercial pop direction.

Classy, intelligent prog rock where the music matters and the image is irrelevant. Great!

Solid tune, good example of '80s progressive rock. I have the Nomzamo LP only on vinyl, but I like it a lot better than The Wake which I recently obtained on CD.

WTF!? You like Nomazamo BETTER than The Wake? Then you really are not a prog fan. Don't get me wrong as I do have and love Are You Sitting Comfortably? Just saying that the albums/CDS with Peter were true prog and what IQ fans like better. My fav IQs are TFTLA, the Wake, Ever, and Subterrean

I'm a huge IQ fan and I prefer Nomzamo to The Wake. Nomzamo is a stunning album.

Don't have this CD but have Are You Sitting Comfortably? Bought it because of the cover and because it was produced by Terry Brown(Rush, Fates Warning, and Tiles). A little poppy but still good

There was no singer in IQ named PL. It was Peter Nicholls and then Paul MEndel. Peter returned to the band in the early '90s
