I am a new driver, and I find his reasoning behind the decrease in license issuance false

1) Teenagers still believe that it is better socializing in person than through social media

2) This is not a serious threat to the auto industry, especially since the US has no infrastructure to support alternative means of transport. Even if teenagers don't want to, they will have to get a car for their jobs, etc.

3) Teenagers have less licenses because of the economy. Insurance is more expensive now.

The Compass is probably flying off the lots because it has improved so much. The first generation looked goofy and cheap, while the new version is much more respectable.

Colored tires seem like a cool idea. But why not just a good set of white walls and/or raised white letters? For a while, tire makers tried other colored walls and stripes on tires and that seemed to do more than the goofiness of whole tires being bright colors will do.

Color tires are nothing new..years ago BFG I think it was offered ones with colored stripes down the tread and sport bikes have had that option aftermarket-wise for years. They seem fun in concept but they will just look nasty dirty way fast.

I don't like the idea about the suzuki swift Ev. If i wanna drive a ev-car i want to charge after 200 miles or more. I guess i'll go forthe Nissa Leaf instead.

@bjthedjdutchdude1992 I pity the fool that thinks he'll get 200mi from a Nissan Leaf. If you want to go 200mi or more without recharging, then I think hypermiling your Tesla Roadster is the only option at the moment, at least in the US.

@bjthedjdutchdude1992 The LEAF is capable of only 130miles at a charge and usually only gets about 120miles at best. Even hypermiling, the LEAF will not get past 150miles and of course you are driving with EVERYTHING off and the windows closed.

Holy crap! Color tires. In my opinion this is aimed for women. I can't see men in luxury sedans driving on colored tires, but I can certainly picture a jacked up Hello Kitty Jeep in hot pink tires. That just makes me wonder what's next?

@RnB123100 Sure after the loons who buy Traxxas do things, terrible things, to them than would leave other RCs in pieces after the first go-around. Traxxas compared to other RCs are nearly indestructible. Why not? They are typically made to be abused.

@DocWolph ive had a bunch of traxxas n i never abuse them,the only ones a abuse r the offroad one n they all brake way to soon..i have a cheap 20$ car from walmart n it last longer than one o my traxxas!thats just sad..in tottal ive bought 5 traxxas vehicles n this was like 3 years ago..only one works now n its couse i barelly use it

@RnB123100 And everyone can tell you're BS'ing...If they were at all as bad as you say, everyone and their grandma would be on about it. At this point, it comes down to you not taking care of your own stuff. Playing "Jack-ass" with an RC made mostly of plastic is going to break it. I have never done any of the crap you see on Youtube because I know it'll break. I've been in R/C since the mid 80s. I know better.

@DocWolph i didnt play jack ass i simply had fun,thats the point of the r/c!!all of the ones i bought were offroad buggy like cars so there shoulve taken a jump or 2 wthout brakeing!n look it up,most people complian that or such expensive r/c traxxas brakes easy

@RnB123100 How big was this jump and what Traxxas was it? However, I'm well aware you may very well undersell the event to make the car seem lesser than it was. Playing "Jack-ass" is not a simple jump or two. It's taking a jump, or some such, that is clearly goes well beyond the realm of "all good sense". The fact you went through 5 of them says you knew what you were doing: deliberately setting out to destroy those models.

@RnB123100 You never answered the given question. Claiming you race is pointless. Even if you lied about the answers to my questions, it would still count for more than saying you raced them. Again, if you did go through 5 of them, you were a bad owner, willfully breaking them, and it was not the car's or the manufacturers fault.

@DocWolph i dont care if you dont belive it buddy..but to anwer ur question we race at a skate park,i had 2 lil 1:18 buggys (pure crap,did not go the 40,ph they siad they did!) a big truck (only good one but cost 250 so it has to be good) and a 1:10 scale truck also braks alot im waiting on parts right now..n a 4x4 version of the big truck..

@RnB123100 Still didn't name the models (do you NOT know how many "big trucks" Traxxas makes) and that wasn't racing. What you did was called "bashing". As it sounds, it's just running around and/or beating up your RC. Sub-1/12s, Traxxas makes 1/16s,

were made for smaller less severe areas. The only buggy Traxxas makes is the Bandit, a 1/10, not 1/18. So, we are at you bashing, not racing, and you are still making it up or ignorant of RCs.
