sincerely....is her cd cut so badly?.....or is it you?....if i were her, i would never allow such a shitty cut make it to stores. please tell me it's your fault.
@Yoo2br "Darwin was a complete jack-ass"/ No wonder you only have one friend. Get with the real World. Can you write the origin of species then? Without the Internet? 200 years ago? I sometimes wonder why I even bother.
I'm always laughing about this irreducibility- of- the- eye argument:
When I was a kid, my both lenses were removed due to cataract (yes, rarely you get it at young ages - great designer, thank you!). Due to that I was in the growing phase I got glasses instead of implants. And you cannot imagine, how good you can see without lenses (w/o the glasses either, to make it clear :D)! No reading off course, but walking around, eating your meal, etc. no big thing!
@ShowYourWorking LOLZ..I find it really funny how many people here assume that a book that is not easy to read for them CANNOT POSSIBLY be a page turner for someone else :D can`t you people BEAR the thought that certain things come easier to some individuls than to others? now, i cannot know for certain what is the truth in her case, but your arrogant presumptiousness is KILLING ME (with laughter:D)
The Origin of Species isn't exactly a 'page turner', no, but I too was stricken by how much more easy it was to read than I had thought (and English is my second language), and how 'modern' I thought the language was compared to my expectations. Haven't finished reading it though. Partly because after all, Darwin's understanding of some aspects of nature was lacking, for obvious reasons, and if I'm going to read about evolution, I want to read the most updated 'version', as it were.
@ShowYourWorking That, or she read only parts of it, or skipped/missed the part about eyes. 'Cause I always wondered about that part, too. I happen to own the Origin of Species and while I haven't read much of it, it's not much of an easily read page-turner yet.
Hadn't she read The Origin of Species earlier? I believe Darwin has an explanation for how the eye might have evolved, in anticipation of such "irreducible complexity" canards.
the human eye is full of failures....

Of course you can "take a class in quantum mechanics"! If you can't work out how, then maybe you need a class in finding out how to take a class!
