ROOT on HBOOT 1.49 Driod Eris

am i missing something i have hboot 1.49.2 and i have been able to root sense i got the phone. should i nt be able too?

Ive now seen 7 or so confirmations over at XDA so keep reading and keep trying. It says you must have a specific SD-Card. I have now also seen a very clean video by another member at XDA showing root on 1.49 s-on with RA recovery also running custom rom. ITS REAL GUYS (just not perfected just yet).

@emanon629 Its amon_ra recovery screen. Running on the eris flashed with the leaked 2.1 v3. Look at the description to see how to root it.

@emanon629 You just have to keep doing it until you get the phone in adb while in recovery.

@AhmedA989 The camera I was using had auto adjust on which means it adjusts to the brightness to focus better and when it loaded into the recovery screen (which was a LOT darker then the boot screen) it focused back to focus on the lamp that was on the entire time. seriously?

all right proof enough for me question though.. will my stock usb card work? or do i need a new one?
