Rockets should hire Dell Cury as Chuck Hayes' ft shooting coach. That dude's coach/trainer back in the day was not paying attention to form and follow through.
sometimes having no routine is the best, when you're in arythym and you go to the line, and you start doing your routine and you over concentrate and the you might miss cause of it, sometimes i just go to the line, feel good, and just look at the basket and square and shoot.
@asc3asc3asc when the pressure is on i always just go and shoot it quickly and i never miss that way, cause then its all muscle memory, and its the best way to shoot a free throw cause its always the same, when you go there and stand on the line and do your routine, you might start thinking too much and miss because of it. and i cant practice now cause ive got jumpers knee :(
@EliasJordan3 pressure comes from lack of exposure in the pressure and immaturity. Rookies and sophomores feel it the most. Live with it. The more you play in the pressure the more routine it will get, it will go away with time and with the natural evolution of your character, no need for little tricks and compromises that denature your skills. And no wonder you got Jumper's Knee
@asc3asc3asc i shoot my free throws the best when under pressure when i just got to the line feel confident and dont do my routine, just shoot it quickly. i got jumpers knee for trying to do plyometrics on hard surface, and what does nonsensical pirouettes mean?
@EliasJordan3 yeah, whatever kid, bet there's still a long way to go match Dell Curry's 86% routinely. Now while you're proving no point here, somebody else is taking his time practicing those free throws, so you'd better hurry up, kid.
u think he said 86% percent of the time because that was his free throw percent in the nba? just askin aye nice video man doesn't matter the age ur still great
ooo dell curry. Still remember him shooting all those threes in the toronto raptors. He's also chris bosh's and mo pete's mentor when they were rookies

Courage would help. THINK I make them ALL True or False
The Body Will Follow Mind unless you let the other thing happen.
Have some real BALLS and know that it's easier, bio mechanically and physically to shoot two handed underhand Point A to Point B than
one handed, overhand. Do Both and see how you do. Six weeks of practice, three hours a week, minimum, mental practice more than that.

I usually rely on the backboard a lot when shooting free throws. I shoot high, it hits the backboard and then it swishes in. XD
Sometimes I get lucky and get a swoosh here and there without the backboard's help. :P

Dell Curry...nothing but the bottom of the net! I love watching Curry's smooth, effortless, strong-wristed shot!
