I saw this logo at the start of "The King and I" (the 1999 version). I have it on DVD. I'm surprised it didn't appear at the start of "The Iron Giant". Warner Bros. Family Entertainment distributed that film.
There was a variation on Willy Wonka (the 1971 version) where there is no wind chime sound effect before the fanfare. That was on the 2001/2005 DVD of said movie.
Warner Bros. Amimation has a new opening logo with the shield in a red background and a retro style Bugs standing next to it, while eating his carrot. Yet, this logo is good, Doc (Bugs's catchphrase).
I think you mean WB Family Entertainment [1999] [full] because around 1998, they would either use the variant from 1993, or they would use a variant of the 75th Anniversary logo but with Family Entertainment on the banner.
It was popular because the last anniversary year in the 20th Century, because a lot of people back in the 90's did all anniversary's cause it was the same century to remember of it.
My Grandmother was born in that year when the Warner Brothers existed!!!!I'LL tell you why a lot of people in 1998 love the 75th anniversary than the 2008's 85th anniversary is because of the last anniversary year in the 20th Century and it wasn't the 75th anniversary in 1999 that would make the year 1924 but it wasn't,it was 1923!!!!!!!
There's a variant of the Warner Family Entertainment Logo which not only has Bugs appearing on the left side, but follows up with Wakko Warner appearing on the opposite side, and he takes a bite out of the WB Shield! That's from Wakko's Wish!

this was first seen in a short variation (from the 1995 Olsen Twins romantic comedy, It Takes Two, followed by the Rysher Entertainment logo).
