I like both versions of the song, but feel it would have been slightly enhanced had it started off slow like this and then segued into the traditional version at an appropriate moment. It's weird, I picture it almost like that's how it should be arranged in concert, but it sounds logical, doesn't it? Starts slow with a newer sound and then builds up into the usual upbeat goodness. Maybe it's just me.
