I just LOVE the part where he realizes he's way up in the air and goes "O0oh....." then falls through the different floors of the building with shapes of him spread eagle and praying xD And could anyone imagine how bad it must've hurt to backflop into a slab of wet cement?!? Amazing, so much ownage in so little time with these classics.
@AHeckman118 Same year as me! Remember i used to watch Looney Toons pretty much every single day even if i had no idea what was going on. Fav cartoon was the Road Runner ones, so clever with all the traps and how they all backfire!
Back in the day, KTTV 11 in Los Angeles had a copy of this with the sound out of sync, so that's way I was used to it. Weird seeing it properly synced mow.
@carycomic1 There's a very good reason for that goof, there was a part removed by the censors. Between the part where the construction worker takes off his clothes and is stripped down to his underwear, there was a scene where he takes off all his clothes, including the underpants. Penis and testicles are fully exposed, that happened on the second to the last brick. That scene was removed and the entire part afterward when he was walking around naked was re-shot for the final cut.
@ kittycat5498 - Thank goodness Bugs used Eastern Onion to send his telegram; heard they folded right after this toon LOL. This short is by far my favorite of that rabbit - along with "Rabbit of Seville". Bullies get theirs, the hardworking little man wins & home ownership prevails. And whenever I'm ailing & someone asks, I always tell them, "Ah'm feelin' mighty low aaahhhh ..." Great post ... Peace, peoples
@cdm2888, you've probably already noticed this, but in those two cartoons, the man providing the voice of the construction worker is John T. Smith, the same guy who did the voice of the Crusher in "Bunny Hugged", the Sergeant in "Hare March Forward", and the dog who keeps saying, "What?! No gwavy!?" in "Chow Hound."

To think, today's bully corporate media will not allow such cartoons on the air anymore
