Pepsi White, was only a promotional product with a temporary run, as is a common practice here in Japan. It is not currently on sale anywhere, Japan or internationally.

Pepsi drinks like that are seasonal and usually limited time deals. Cucumber and Azuki are no longer sold... as far as I know. I tried both and do NOT miss 'em. Hehehe.

God, I tasted Calpis while I was over there. It was awful. It sounds like cow piss because that's what it tastes like.

The endless varieties of new products in Japan ceases to amaze. Really cool, even if they aren't all successes.

It's like Japanese pop culture has ADD the way they move from item-to-item and trend-to-trend.

What gets me is how sometimes the new products ARE successes, and yet they still yank them from the shelves after the allotted 12 week planned sales period and they are never seen again.

I guess it is that thing - Japanese love "kikan gentei" stuff - they will buy it even if they don't really want to, only because they don't want to miss out, so it guarantees success, but it then necessitates discontinuation.
