My kitty who passed away when she was 19, used to give me head butts & wet nose contact for affection but licking my brow was reserved for when I was sick. It's as if she wanted to cool my fever & would always lie close to me whenever I was under the weather. My sweet little nurse.

@mmedefarge i had a kitty like that once. :) I miss her dearly. When I was four I found her in our neighbors old house, they left her behind when they moved, so I carried her home. She proceeded to take care of me after that. She passed away when I was 17, not sure how old she was though. probably about 16.

@syirah635 Yes, she died when she was 19 y/o from the catfood that was poisoned with Chinese grain laced with melamine a few years ago (she survived the initial poisoning but developed kidney cancer from the toxin). Had it not been for the poisoned catfood, she might have still been with me today as she was otherwise healthy.

as their mouth bacteria is very dangerous for humans,

can give you Meningitis which is irreversible :-(

that's why you can't eat with a cat from the same plate.
