Live right by Hershey Park and go a few times a year every year and This is by far my favorite coaster in the whole world- I've ridden it many times and always in the front seat-I just wish I could hear the coaster and the people- instead of the lame song. BTW you spelled PENNSYLVANIA wrong :o)

Song sucks. Better to hear the ride and screaming so it feels like you are there. I have been to Hershypark a lot. It is a great place. This ride here, it is not the best anymore but it used to be before the new ones. I am not close to the park anymore, I am in Coumbus, Ohio, but one day I will go back.

I have been on this and raptor. I will say Great Bear is still (for the most part) as smooth as its first day. Raptor on the other hand has lost some of its B&M smoothness over the years. Nevertheless, I prefer Raptor over Great Bear.

OMG BEST RIDE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This got me over my fear of roller coasters. You haven't been to Hershey if you haven't ridden this. Not scary at all, drop doesn't hurt your stomach, loops don't make you dizzy, all around amazing ride!

Hydra is tied with stormrunner for #5, and I never got to ride Talon in the front, so I don't consider it high enough for my top 10. I've only been to dorney 1ce, but I'm going again tomorrow, actually! Oh, and I don't like Steel Force because I've ridden way better hypers like superman at six flags america, apollo's chariot at busch gardens, and my favorite: Goliath at Six flags over georgia. But, I can't wait to ride everything tomorrow! Also, why do you ask? Is that your home park?

I checked, and the weather should be in the high 70's, with an over cast. great weather! Oh, and it's 10-10, so 12 hours is great! How long is your drive to Dorney? My drive to Six Flags America is 30 minutes, and everything else is AT LEAST 2 hours... so that sucks... still, I've been to 6 amusement parks! How about you?

This was definitely my second-favorite coaster in the park. Storm Runner was my #1, but this coaster had a great balance of elements without being too nerve-shattering. Probably the most "well-balanced" coaster in the park in terms of loops, speed, etc. It's an awesome ride.

I love the Storm Runner...but the Great Bear is my favorite coaster in the park. For one, it's inverted - for two, it means something special to me because it was the first coaster I ever rode when I actually got over my fear of them :)
