  • FULLY CAPTEN! :D

  • :33 - Data used a contraction.

  • oh my she's so damn sexy.

  • Data is the sexiet android ever. and he tottally has emotions. i love it hen hes all smiling, goofy, clumsy and turned on XD

  • I always thought Yar was kinda pretty, but I think she just looks very strange here.

  • LOL

  • Denise Crosby was at the first Trek convention I attended. She commented that Data had three speeds on top of all those techniques.

  • The answers to all your questions are clear: Data says "I'm sure he meant now" here. Clearly, this must be Lore, who has gone through a time warp to appear on this episode. No other explanation. Yep.

  • I wish I could acting as good as Brent Spiner!

  • @Moonlight49163 Most of the Trek actors had Shakespeare backgrounds, so get thee to any theater company doing The Immortal Bard.

  • data is surprisingly emotional for a machine

  • Poor guy never had a chance.

  • *leans*

    *falls*

    Warf: Wtf?

  • @flamewhisker It's spelled "Worf"

  • One of my favorite episodes ever.

  • This scene has become legendary.

Also, I wonder how fully she tested those functions.

  • HAHA soo cute! I dont care if they say he is incapable of emotions (it was probably the virus making him that way anyway), this was sooo funny and made me love the series even more ;D <3

  • @Nakunaruu Just wait for him to get his emotion chip. Good times there.

  • Smokin' HOT!

  • this single scene makes the whole TNG series worth watching!

  • It was Season 1 they were still working out the roles of each character. Think about it, when they first brought the Trill's into being, they were FAR different by the time they became regulars such as Jadzia Dax and Ezri Dax.

  • Data is basically a vibrator with a positronic brain. :p

  • @ComradeNerd LOLLLLLLL ur funny!

  • Fully, captainXD

  • I would've liked to have gotten to know the intoxicated Data a bit more.... ;)

  • does he really sniff his finger at 2:19?

  • So Data and Tasha were the first crewmembers to get it on!

  • Comment removed

  • Lol, Data got some. Sexy :P

  • LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • Captain, I got laid and you didn't! WIN for Data!

  • I love the pose Data was making when the turbo lift opened.

Oh god, drunken Data is the best. xP

  • @xNatALi3xz I agree 10000%!!! Data's the cutest drunk EVER!! :) I wanna be Tasha in this ep!

  • Wait, how is Data smiling and nervous and turned on, when later on they made a big thing about him being incapable of emotions?!

  • I was wondering about the same thing.

  • @itsthelala i think its just the writers goof of specifics. You see that sort of thing in all sorts of tv shows.

  • @itsthelala It's the third episode of the first season. The writers were probably still getting used to the characters.

  • @itsthelala

Later in the series he receives an emotion chip that he can turn on and off. He also ends up having it work against him in Star Trek: First Contact where he is seduced by the queen Borg.

  • @itsthelala FULLY FUNCTIONAL AND ANATOMICLY CORRRECT!!!

  • @itsthelala @itsthelala I was scratching my brain at this too, like Cpt. Piccard said, he should've been immune to the Intoxication - getting wasted in mundane term. Then again, Alchohol goes through the bloodstream and into the brain - and as Data pointed out - in his intoxication - he got something similar to blood himself, so it is possible that he got drunk by this biological method. but still,

Then again, Who cares? Data's a cute drunk

  • I guess most sci-fi shows are inconsistent like that sometimes.

  • @Noromongrel he must have activated special lover program or something like that. you know, if he's capable of making love, he must have been made capable of acting properly during - and before - that act.

  • @Noromongrel What effected the crew and made them intoxicated also effected Data since he was built to just like them.

  • @Noromongrel What effected the crew and made them intoxicated also effected Data since he was built to just like them. Later Data explains that to the captain.

  • @Noromongrel Part of his sexuality program.

  • @Noromongrel The power of love can turn machines into smocking hot metal men!!! ahahaha

  • @Noromongrel apparently Soong felt sexual behavior to be a more vital part of the human experience than emotions

  • @Noromongrel Well, you also have to think about how many times that must have sent that actor (I don't know his name) into laughing fits because he has to try and repress any show of emotion... I'm pretty sure that they didn't mind after about the 40th take or so...

  • @Noromongrel - In this episode, a virus is spreading among the crew which has effects similar to intoxication. That's why Picard expresses such surprise at Data's being infected by the virus.

  • @Noromongrel Because this was only the third episode. Any show that goes on for as long as this one did is guaranteed to have inconsistencies between the early episodes and later episodes. Or if you want a better explanation, just assume that he was already affected by the virus and him being nervous and turned on were just the early symptoms.

  • @Noromongrel Maybe whe she touched his hand it infected him. There was little continuity between what happened first season and what came in subsequent seasons...

  • I adore Data!!

  • Mega cool! Data's face at 1:43. OOooo..space booty call..Woooo! "A broad variety of pleasuring." Dr. Soong is a 'hound-dog' for programming that in Data.

'Drunken' Data is a hoot. Thanks. Fav'd-downl'd.

  • @MetalKittyOTF well Soong seems an indian name, so I think Soong knew very well the Kama Sutra lol

  • Wow awesome quality!

I think this is one of my fave eps. So silly!
