What virtues do you use for your Burg to solo in general or for things like these? I'm stuck at what to use.

@TheShmida just one - Persistence ;) joking, pick the virtues that suit your play style, virtues have a minimal effect of the gameplay so you rarely go wrong. personally i like virtues that give me high regeneration for stuff like this but you need gear that also compliments that as virtues alone have a tiny effect.

@wylwrk If I remember correctly all he dropped was some trash like a claw or wing fragment. The whole point of this mob was item experience bounty for the quest. Kinda disappointing (especially now that these quests got nerfed exp wise) but oh well at least he gave a nice fight at the time.

@calummorris1993 Easiest way is to look in group instances, lower level bosses put up a good fight sometimes when you face them alone (and can be *very* profitable in case of CD/Uru). This particular drake spawns only if you have the quest to kill him from Esteldin, and he spawns deep in the Misty Moutains, far away from any routes. If youre 65 already, he will be too low, but Lhugrien in Urugarth should be the best soloable (Nemesis) drake currently in game. Or Helegrod drake wing.

what is the best weapon for burglar ? two daggers or ?

@1Ronaldinho10 You can go with whatever you like nowadays. Weapon type used to matter once, but now it's mostly looks. You can get a tiny % of extra damage on daggers as a burg but it is so slim, it doesn't matter. Also racial traits can boost your damage with a certain weapon type by a few %. It is insignificant though so you can as well pick what looks best.

Im sry but if you are gambler and thats how it was couse I saw gambler buff your staling twis could do extra overtime damage means kill faster and no need to run around for so long with 40s coldown on it chances to place it are rlly higth

If you like that sort of music seek out these groups, and also Two Steps From Hell ^^ They specialise in movie trailer music.

@zalan26 It's a drake, not a dragon. Drakes in this game are more like wyverns. Search for Thorog if you want to see the only (undead) dragon in LOTRO.

@MrLe0x i was not quiet knife specced, so stealth opening was pointless. loosing mischief mode and clever retort heal is not worth a single high crit. it is one of the things i wish they fixed, burglars should be able to stay in stealth longer than just the initial hit (not counting feint attack). after trying burst dps with quiet knife and being eaten alive i decided to go gambler with this one, thus fighting openly with no stealth, and it worked much better. survival > dps in this case.

@GLaDOSrev2 Is it even possible to stealth hit with its' fire aoe? S'pose if you're quick with hips. Regardless, nice work, I've got the bounty and I'm very tempted to try this with my burg. I was clenching at the end, you cut it a little too fine:)

Oh, and to be clear. I did do it with Supreme lvl scrolls AND the fire resist potion. However, my 4th relic slot was not used.

I got him on my 13th or 14th attempt.

For the past 2 days I have done almost nothing but focus my time on soloing Rothlug. It has been frustating, and expensive, but tonight, it was all worth it :)

With my 664 morale necklace burnt, and my destiny bonus morale bleeding away, I used my unspent Ready and Able on a desperate fit of fury that I didn't think would win.

This had to be the enjoyable solo of my career.
