@Moviefan7359 It was Josh. I went in Aug. of 2003, and Jan. of 2004. I want to go back at least one more time so I can visit ALL of the Rocky locations. There is a video on youtube called "Rocky Jumped a Park Bench" by James Rolfe (The Angry Videogame Nerd). He goes to almost every single notable location. I would love to do that just once. :)
@rockybalboa101 I saw James' mini movie and tried to visit all locations in South Philly. I accentely ended up in North Philly but didn't go to Kensington.
Awesome man.....they have since moved the statue though back to the museum but at the bottom of the stairs. Didnt you wanna go to where Mick's gym was or even the actual restaurant that Sly owns called Adrians? I cant wait until I can go.
@CerebralAssassin1977 Yeah, it would have been nice to see the statue at the steps. The restaurant wasn't Rocky related back in 2003, so I had no thought to go there. I would for sure go now the next time I visit (who knows when, lol). Mick's gym is in a REALLY bad part of Philly. People say never go there at night, and stay in your car during the day. I guess crime is huge around Micks. Next time I'll tell a taxi to drive me to it, lol. Thanks for commenting and you'll love it when u go!
For real, that's pretty cool man. I noticed a building from Rocky V as well. I believe it was the establishing shot of the scene where Rocky was talking to a lawyer or advisor about his finances. You know when Adrian talked him out of fighting Union Cane.
Man, I'd love to go there. My wife and I are trying to take my kids to DisneyWorld in September. Should I send her there with the kids and go to Philly by myself? Ha ha ha!!
@pierdidit lol, believe me or not, Going to Philly was the end of my honeymoon! We went to Florida, did a bunch of stuff, and then went to Philadelphia. Try and talk the family in taking a detour. ;)
