Tom Cruise is actually quite interesting when he gets talking on a subject. It'd be interesting to see him on a panel/quiz show like QI, though I doubt he'd ever stoop back down to TV work.

I always loved Tom :) I'm not keen on the whole Scientology stuff but I don't have to like it and Scientology hasn't messed him up so I guess it works for him. And as long as he keeps this genuine, funny, modest and smiley guy he was in this show, in my opinion, there's no need to critizise Tom in any way... :)

Tom is awesome! People always make fun of him but if you look at his history.. He has done nothing wrong, no drugs no hate comments, no rehab. He is a all around a great guy compared to some of the wack jobs out there.

I love my comedy films but I did find Tropic Thunder dissapointing, Black, Stiller Downey JR love em but the film was pants sorry lol.

Watching this, it's clear that UK interview shows are so much better than in the US (I'm from the UK by the way). In the US on shows like Letterman, it also feels as if the actors/actresses that go on the show are still acting; they don't appear to be themselves at all. On Jonathan Ross though, you get a sense that they ARE being themselves. So much better.

@93johnk Not a chance. Jonathan Ross got involved in a bit of a scandal where he poked some fun at a guy on the phone on Russell Brand's radio show.

It wasn't anything that extreme, but the right wing media (the Daily Mail) were looking for any excuse to get rid of them, so they used that to start a campaign against them. They hated him because of his high salary, and considered his innuendo to be too extreme.

Brand quit straight away (and went to the US), and JR left after 1 more series.
