Yeah i followed this mod regularly, then Halo Wars came around and fucked every thing up. That game was a disgrace to Real Time Strategy and Halo. Not to mention that this mod looked about 10x better then the million dollar developed game. Oh how i dislike cash cows.

Halo wars was shit, you couldnt place buildings where you wanted to you had to put them on some shitty asthetic template, in generals you can just throw a barracks in the enemy base and that is why i like it. Halogen would have been so much better than halo wars. Shit story that could have been on any franchise, not just halo. Dumb characters like the hero who is a manly muscular beast and his female assistant back at base with a headset. No creativity whatsoever.

@masterjedi89 Halo wars actually wasn't that bad. The battles were satisfying, and fun. They did well for having an RTS on the console, the controls never really got in the way. What would have made it an really good RTS is if they simply just made it for the PC. Alot of content and units, including a full faction, were cut from the game in order to make it's console platform more accessible and playable.
