Freefall is an acceleration achieved by an object falling only under influence of gravity. A building made of solid steel and concrete collapsing at free-fall is a physical absurdity, and, as such, has never been observed in history, including collapses of WTC 1 and 2.
The only known occurrences of free-fall during collapses are such of most common way of conducting explosive demolitions, and that is to almost completely demolish about one-third of a building at ground level, allowing the rest of the structure to achieve sufficient momentum to crush itself.
Fore free-fall to be achieved even during explosive demolitions requires near-complete shredding of the structure, as slabs of concrete and steel beams are no small obstacle to momentum.
I've never given any credence to the freefall argument. Its never explained is what speed the building SHOULD have fallen at.
Besides, the whole "explosive" bit has a huge logical fallacy that I've never heard answered:

If you want to know the speed - actually, acceleration - at which a building should fall, there are plenty of fire-based and demolition-driven collapses to choose from. Like I said, acceleration nearing free-fall occurs only during explosive demolition, while fire-based collapses nor traditional demolition come even close.
To be fair, no steel-frame building has ever completely collapsed from fire.
Because it wouldn't work. Very few people died because of the impacts themselves. Furthermore, WTC was specifically designed to withstand such impacts with minimal damage.
A building exploding in plain sight is fair enough. What this means, however, is that you then have to investigate the cause, which is no different than leaving a gun with your fingerprints on it at the scene of a crime.
An object falling at free-fall implies that it receives next to zero resistance in its path. Consequently, if a building collapses at free-fall, that means its internal support has been destroyed to provide no resistance, and nothing else. Freefall is an acceleration achieved by an object falling only under influence of gravity. A building made of solid steel and concrete collapsing at free-fall is a physical absurdity, and, as such, has never been observed in history, including collapses of WTC 1 and 2.

Fore free-fall to be achieved even during explosive demolitions requires near-complete shredding of the structure, as slabs of concrete and steel beams are no small obstacle to momentum.

If you want to know the speed - actually, acceleration - at which a building should fall, there are plenty of fire-based and demolition-driven collapses to choose from. Like I said, acceleration nearing free-fall occurs only during explosive demolition, while fire-based collapses nor traditional demolition come even close.
To be fair, no steel-frame building has ever completely collapsed from fire.

A building exploding in plain sight is fair enough. What this means, however, is that you then have to investigate the cause, which is no different than leaving a gun with your fingerprints on it at the scene of a crime.

An object falling at free-fall implies that it receives next to zero resistance in its path. Consequently, if a building collapses at free-fall, that means its internal support has been destroyed to provide no resistance, and nothing else. Being a firefighter for nearly 17 years, i have witnessed several building collapses, granted none as large as the WTC. Alot looked very wrong with how fast they came down, then after watching the 2 hour presentation on A&E truth i am more than convinced the planes alone didn't bring down the towers. who did? that's why we need a new investagation. I would hate to think the government was behind this in some way, but to think just 19 guys with boxcutters did this alone is crazy!

What is most obvious about 911 is that mainstream media removed 99% of all footage from circulation and never played it to their audiences ever again even though it was LIVE seen on 911. In late 2006 they were finally pressured to play some footage of WTC7 to their audiences. Most people hade never seen it (or had forgotten all about it). You should go watch some 911 truth documentaries rather than being so ignorant.

I said that Zelikow wrote a paper for the Journal of international polices (not sure on the name) in 1998 saying that without a "new pearl harbour" the americans would never support an agressive conquest invasion of the middle-east.
