I'm sure I am not voting for Meg Whitman or for Steve Poizner. Frankly, each camp's advertising has shown to me that both Whitman and Poizner cannot be trusted. i'm so glad some of my republican friends also agree. I can't wait until after the elections so all these negative advertising stops. It makes me think I should vote for any living, breathing democrat governor candidate out there because I am tired of these two people at each other's throats.

People are leaving California in droves, and there are bunches of us who'd love to live there, but the taxes are nuts. I'm visiting for the weekend and the cost of everything - from gas to food to sales tax! - is atrocious. How in the world can California hope to get out of the swamp it's dug for itself unless they give the taxpayers a break? That's why people are leaving - they're tired of the California tax and regulation vampire that's bleeding them dry.
