Charles Bronson has never killed a soul, and there are murderers that have walked out of prison before him. He's never attacked anyone who couldn't fight back (or wouldn't). He's never hurt a woman. He's just a man with this incredible amount of fighting energy. We glorify men who do this for money on national television, and yet we condemn Bronson? That just seems a bit fucked up to me.

The robbery he was sentenced for involved no injuries or direct violence. This official now tries to make it seem like he's some animal, hurting everyone in his path. i loved it. great performance by tom hardy. the most disturbing scene imo was at the end where he is confined to a cage no larger than an upright coffin! if that's for real then it's so fucking inhumane it's not even funny. so, to answer your question, their treatment of michael peterson was quite "brutal" yes. which is probably what prompted his transformation into "charlie bronson", comedian, bare-knuckle boxer, misunderstood artist and all-round hard-cunt.

I still don't get it. Why can't they release him? If he was violent outside, or rapes with violence in, OK , but you cage a man who has never killed for life?
