  • Superb piano trio version. Love all of Ahmad's 50's work. Superb recordings with a trio equal to any now and before. Marvel at his rhythm and time changes. Gives a timeless freshness to these great standards. Nice video too, but need a lot more moonlight images to match. Enjoy.

  • Bravo!!!

  • I See the MOONLIGHT in your EYES

  • im 18 years old and id rather listen to this than my generations music

  • @WundaTwinzTV Right on! I'm 20 and feel the same way. I often see comments on vids of old music from old people bemoaning how the youth of today don't listen to anything decent. Good to let them know that we're not all idiots.

  • Beautiful!! The music and your video. I love the way you faded the images into one another. Thank you for sharing.

  • My older brother had some albums by Jamal and I became instantly a fan in my early teens. Still have some of those albums and a fan more than ever still. Amazing tenderness in his performances.

  • No words !!! Speechless..

  • That's great.

  • Beautiful. Listening to Jamal always puts me in a good place. Gorgeous pictures as well. Thanks.

  • Adicting....

  • Rhythm shifts, key changes, harmonic dissonance, and Vernel Fornier's beautiful drum and cymbal work, and lovely video too! C'est manifique!

  • @PoetryMan11 Excellent summary; and, yes, Vernell is THE man with brushes.

  • great video and the music is so relaxing, "good stuff"

  • 0:43 - 0:51 that shit is funky!

  • this album made me a fan of Ahmad Jamal and and this classical music at 15 years old. I used to play it when none of my friends were around because they didn't appreciate the music and actually teased me about it. I am 65 now, and I thank you for opening door to this art form. This music is a gift to the world.

    Soooooooo nice !!

  • My father loved Jamal. He had "But Not For Me" and "LIve at the Pershing". He died in '92 of cancer but I remember him telling me about Jamal.

I can't ask him now how he knew about Jamal.

    I love Miles Davis.

My dad was from Belleville, Il and me: from St. Louis.

Miles is from East St. Louis, Il.

  • @impala327

How he knew, was moot. What's important, is that he knew.
