Im not here to get into a fight, but I play LoL, and HoN looks fun, but its HUD confuses rhe shit out of me. Both games have their flaws, like people, games arent perfect.

Yeah and also try out Bloodline champions.Its like a real battle arena where you fight using your skill. No items, No gold only cooldowns. Its a deathmatch

Game is obviously dumb and stupid. And that guy with the bow looks really OP. Characters with bows are always really OP, and he stuns whenever he walks near them. You could probably make teams with nothing but him and faceroll all day too since the game doesn't even limit to 1 character per team LOL what a joke.

You only need to pay the 30$ for HoN once >.> There are no monthly fees and you get all champions and maps unlocked. Playing HoN is much cheaper than playing LoL, in LoL you invest a lot of money in new champions that cost too much to unlock through grinding.

LoL is NOT from the makers of DotA. The majority of DotA players consider IceFrog to be the DotA 'maker' since he has improved the game the most. LoL is made by Guinsoo who developed the first basic map of DotA, which was later modified by IceFrog. IceFrog helped make HoN and is currently working on DotA 2 for Valve.

Say what you will about LoL's graphics being cartoony, they are, but it really gives a lot of personality to the characters. Stylized != Bad. look at Okami. Does it have cartoony graphics? Yes. Does it have bad graphics? Not at all.
1. You can't badmouth HoN for being a 'copy' of LoL. LoL was a copy of Dota in the first place, so stfu.
2. HoN...dying? Er, hasn't the number of players been increasing since the day it came out? You can't say a game is dying when it is being continuously played, has a massive active online community, and is being constantly supported with updates and new heroes and extras.

@Sheik79 Not giving a reason to why one game is better is pointless. I can give you many reasons why League of Cocksuckers fails. The graphics look like a failed cartoon. The map is too ugly, PLEASE fix the textures. The heroes are on some 10 every week bullshit. You have to spend money to be good, and last but not least, all the players are 10 years old and/or are feeders and don't care about the game. Of course, you could find a group that cares about it, but pub's = not fun. Stick with hon.
Why does everyone cry over whether HoN or LoL is better? I play both, they're both fun. People should spend less time telling other people about what they SHOULD like, and more time playing what THEY like.

Back on topic, Aluna is fun, just still finding her own niche at the moment.
The Flame is really hard in Hon, but only in the 1500-Rating-Brackets. I play 1700+ Rating and there is never Flame. All in all Hon is a harder game, more precisely and faster. I played Lol and Hon for months and I always come back to Hon, because of the balancing and other stuff, like: the runes in Lol give advantages to "old" players, u have to level your acc. This makes it less and competitive.
And besides, if you talk about Flame, u talk about Community, not the Game.

Yeah, your heard it right, LoL has no kick system, no punishment for idiots who ruin games and they promise plenty of sh1t they can't deliver (such as more maps and game modes ever since closed beta on which I took part, sadly).

@Johnza23 I disagree on "HoN is trying to be more faithful copy of original DotA". If you do play HoN or at least took a view on their new heroes, they're basically HoN originals. So, on the contrary, HoN is actually trying to be different from DotA, and not just to be a plain copy of the original.

@Sheik79 Not giving a reason to why one game is better is pointless. I can give you many reasons why League of Cocksuckers fails. The graphics look like a failed cartoon. The map is too ugly, PLEASE fix the textures. The heroes are on some 10 every week bullshit. You have to spend money to be good, and last but not least, all the players are 10 years old and/or are feeders and don't care about the game. Of course, you could find a group that cares about it, but pub's = not fun. Stick with hon.

Why does everyone cry over whether HoN or LoL is better? I play both, they're both fun. People should spend less time telling other people about what they SHOULD like, and more time playing what THEY like.

League of Legends used to be an excellent alternative to Heroes of Newerth / Dota.
Now that LOL is based on hybrid tank/ dps or tank / mage, its as easy as it could be.
Also, i was owning alot more in LOL than in HON. LOL is for alot more casual player, whereas in HON players are better and more skilled.

The Flame is really hard in Hon, but only in the 1500-Rating-Brackets. I play 1700+ Rating and there is never Flame. All in all Hon is a harder game, more precisely and faster. I played Lol and Hon for months and I always come back to Hon, because of the balancing and other stuff, like: the runes in Lol give advantages to "old" players, u have to level your acc. This makes it less and competitive.
And besides, if you talk about Flame, u talk about Community, not the Game.

Wow, everyone here flaming wether HoN or LoL is better/easier/graphics/etc/etc/etc. When are you people are going to realize that HoN is closer to DotAs gameplay than LoL, making them two COMPLETELY different games?
And before you start whining that you do the same things (kill enemy heroes) and have the same objective (destroy opposing teams base), check your logic. If that is the case, all RTS games are the same, since you control small units and destroy the other players base. -.-
