@baiboo To answer my own question, I figured out how to depot the new packaging:). I basically broke off the lid (the mirror side) and popped the entire thing in an oven (in a baking tray with foil ) for 10 minutes and bent the case and popped em right out. yeayyyyy

NYX changed the packaging on the trio:( :( there is no way to get the plastic thing out. can you do another video on how to depot the new packaging
