I tried to get my dad to buy me a 1962, four-door Impala for my first car... this was back in 2003. It was for sale at a local dealership. It was a sharp looking car, but my dad wouldn't get it because it was a four-door, and he said old men drive four-doors. A couple years later, I finally talked him into letting me get this '68 Pontiac Tempest. I'm just glad to own a classic car now. Always wanted one growing up. I have a video of the minor restoration I had done to it.
WOW! What a beautiful color choice! The trunk looks incredible too! Love the music you put with it. All you need is to cruise a Palm lined street with that music playing and the wind in your air.
I got to say that the '59 and '60 Chevys were the best, they were the most creatively designed, the next best would be the '57 and '58, all of which had fins and extra chrome.
wow...I had forgotten how nice a 1960 Impala was. Thank goodness for people with time energy and money that can restore these for future generations to see.
beatufil car guys, you definately are one of the luckiest guys on earth, u dont see really any of those anymore, me and my dad spent actually 14 years on a 65 impala, it mostly took so long because he was hired to restore classic cars for lots of other people, but we managed to finsh it bout 2 summers ago, beatiful car
I had a '60 in 1970. It was my 1st car - and it had the exact same coloring as yours..348 and Hurst 3 Speed on the floor...great job guys, and thanks for the memories !
BEAUTIFUL. Nice job. I'm sure a lot of long hours and worry. About how much would you say you have invested in it. I learned how to drive on one of those (4 door) on a Kansas dirt road when I was 10 years old. Strangly, it would start with the Automatic shifter in Drive. Thanks. JAMES.
Beautiful work!
