I'm going start using a deep water hydroponic system with a net, grow rocks, airstone/pump, ph kit, and liquid nutrients in a 5 gallon bucket just putting up with changing the water transfer quickly to a 2nd water/nutrient reservoir only once a week instead of soil since soil is more expensive and I haven't seen anything like that with even coco grow. This video is an example that growing has come a long way with OG ocean grows time I step things up grow solo, go pro use hydro, and veg longer.

I have a theory it's better to use a 400w metal halide during veg along with the CFL's even in regular light bulb sockets with a full spectrum digital combination 400w MH HPS bulb for flower with at least 100 watts of additional CFL lighting.

@Jroc1207 um with 400w im calculating a ceiling of about 10 ounces or .75grams/watt. If he has epic co2, then thats fucking legit at ~13oz. 400 is a little small, i think 600 offers +80% par and gives a little over a pound each one. yield is directly proportional to light.

@newmedgrowr surface area! make sure all the light is hitting something green. do everything you can do keep the leaves green, its not normal to see yellow until flush. If i were u, and i wanted quality but not to blow the entire bank, use AN sensi-bloom + big bud and overdrive and thats it. organics are for the weak(wish i could elaborate), soil is for the weak, you need either hydro or soilless like Premier Pro-Mix because they offer so much more control.
