I have always held FFIII in high regrades. I enjoyed FF7 but this game is long and hard. This game forces you to grind like hell and most of his complains are justified (I hated walking into a battle every 5 steps and walking every damn where). But this is a real RPG where you can probably only play it if you are a completionist.

Yeah, not so long ago. When the games were originally released in Japan in the 80s and 90s; USA (and Europe I think) didnt get those games except 1, 4 and 6 (known in the USA at the time as; 1, 2, 3).

What you're referring to is the games released not so long ago, but a decade after the originals. :)

u didnt really mention that ff 1 and 2 (real ff2) were both available on ps1 remake and gba remake if i am not mistaken both before the ff 3 ds remake. (ff origins for sony playstation), also the real ff5 was relised on playstaion in the form of ff anthology,

I'm currently playing Final Fantasy 3 on the NES, and man its such an amazing experience. Its so rewarding too. The gameplay is fun and strategic, and the overall world and universe is so immersive.

Thats the reason I love Final Fantasy games, its because it really immerses me into the world, it feels like I've escaped my world into another dimension! Sometimes I get too "into" games. But thats ALWAYS a good thing in my eyes. :)

3 and 6 are the same btw play them all just relax when you play them lol its stressing knowing you have to beat them all because 13 is coming out so heres what you do get a good nes emulator and final fantasy 1 the cool thing is with emulators is you have a fast forward button macroded onto your key board this will let you play through battles quicker lulz so play 1 its really short just the battles are long get the tanslated japan rom for two that one is good then do the same for the rest

I don't know if this was discussed earlier, but all the missing Final Fantasy's have been released on the GBA, except III, which is for the DS.

FFIV DS is an overhaul of the FFIV GBA.

Just to clarify: they released FFI and FFII together on the same GBA cartridge, went to FFV, back to FFIV, then released FFIII for the DS, and then they did FFVI, again for the GBA.

pretty good review. FF3 on the DS was quite good.

You'll love FF4 on the DS if you were a big fan of the original, they did really well with it I thought.

And yes, better compression sirfoggy... plus they dont have to make the videos nearly as high resolution b/c the DS screens are pretty low res compared to a tv. The CG is still good looking stuff though, regardless.
