Yes, it was a British TV series in the late 90's. It is available for purchase from ezydvd.au for one, but is limited to DVD region 4 so requires a regionfree dvd player

This DVD has just become available in Region 4 (New Zealand, Australia). I purchased one through EZYDVD but you need a multiregion DVD player to watch it. Excellent quality however.

Yes, I think they have been getting lots of written requests. However, I don't think this distributor (advertiser) has control of the TV to DVD rights.

No, I'm sorry, this series is not available. It was a tv series in the UK in the early 2000's. Many Gerard Butler fans have attempted to convince the original company to release it on DVD but no success so far.
