  • Hot with brains. A deadly combination! Trouble is the left are idiots and the "right" are keynesians. So they might as well be socialists too. Keynes and his "General" theory is utter nonsense.

  • Has she got a 3rd like Carol Vordeman?

  • Tax payers alliance - a conservative front.

    Try "the other taxpayers alliance"

The fact is that Labour are committed to fair taxes. Low taxes would mean cuts in education and NHS.

A balance needs to be made. Not too much which will disincentivise growth , but not too little which leads to the less worse off suffering. Exactly what New Labour is about:

    labour. org. uk

  • @sltr1

    Here, here..

The Tap is a right wing group run like the shitty teabagger across the pond.. Anyoine who joins it has either blinkers over their eyes or.. they are so pathetic that few supposed " pointless jobs" gets them in a lather.

Or... they are jumped up brickies, plasterers, joiners or any ofthat scummy ilk who think they are so hard working that despite having xero academic qualifications they can spout fourth on matters above their comprehension! Scum...

  • Sorry but I'm a UK taxpayer and the TPA do not speak on my behalf.

Equally as importantly is the issue of tax justice or tax avoidance.

Can the TPA supporters on here confirm or deny that they attend events with the recently outed non-dom, Lord Ashcroft?

  • its your generation and many more to come that will be paying alot more taxs to pay for labours mindless binge over the last 11years.

  • Why dont you start worrying about your furture children, because if you dont stop 'forced adoptions' which are racking in millions ££££ for

ALL - CON/LIB/LAB run local authourities, DEBT will be the least of your problems

  • Just who are 'The Tax Payers Alliance', and who elected them to speak on 'my' behalf ?

  • I agree, what a load of bollocks.

  • so u don't want the goverment held accountable on what they spend? visit their website and u will be astonished about the waste of money they can achieve.

  • read the post..... "who are they and who elected them"...not me

  • so you don't care about squandering your hard earned cash on street football coordinators?

  • "Street football coordinators" - What are you talking about ?? Tax Payers Alliance are so far right wing that most of the Tory Party have disowned them (well in public that is)

  • tax is theft. i can spend my money better than the goverment can.

  • You need help

  • I think you should show some evidence of what you're talking about. You're not getting anywhere by making "ad hominem" comments.

  • @OrangUtanUK

    Evidence..

Look very closely at the Full membership list!

Then research some of those on that list..

    Interesting..

Look at the TPA manifesto , then compare it with the Tory party manifesto.

    QED.

  • @whiskasalpha

Did you check the membership list ? Still waiting?

  • Not only our children, our grandchildren, and for us, our great grandchild, will be paying for the folly heaped on us by the European Union, as well as by that Prudence Brown with his spending Britain's future. Alan & Dorothy

  • In just June 2008 alone, on top of all its borrowings in the months and years previously, and despite all its Tax receipts from us, the Labour Government still spent so much that it had to borrow yet another £12,772 million.

Gordon was so confident that he'd personally done away with "boom and bust" he's practically banrupted us during one of the best economic times Britain has ever seen, so now that we are in depression we can expect to pay even more in tax.

  • yes i agree, its probably been the most economically productive decade, and it was perfect chance to balance the books. if this had been done maybe borrowing 100 billion this year would be easily paid back, wouldn't be huge burden and certainly more managable

  • I am so glad that there are at least some of us have seen through the 'I am your saviour' style that Brown has adopted. He should be charged for:

Tax Credits handouts - encouraging people not to work by giving them money and penalising them when they do find work

Vote buying - using our hard earned tax money to buy votes

Stealing - from the hardworking generation by raiding their pension funds.

Sold Britain - by selling all the gold reserves and going on a spending spree

    Wake up Britain.

  • @gpymacrae

"Stealing - from the hardworking generation by raiding their pension funds."

Erhmm chedck your facts, Brown didnt STEAL from tax funds, no more than the tories did in 1993..

As for the gold reserves, Brown sold them like belgium and holland etc..

Oh yes yet another ever so HARD working person. Give me a break!

  • He's not a bit worried about paying up. By the time we will have to pay all that silly spending back, he will be lecturing in Business School somewhere in Dubai.

  • What a vile bunch of losers this labour party is, I have broken my back for the last four years just to stay in business, now things are getting even tougher, but fortunately gordon brown, alistair darling and co are helping us small business's. unfortunately, I cannot get any help at all, in fact, the vat and the tax office are fining me over £500 per week, plus interest for late payment charges, can anyone explain how this is helping ? where is this help ?

  • @dolphinpubweb " I have broken my back for the last four years just to stay in business"

Please play another record,, Hackneyed rubbish! So many wingeing little people who thinkl they are the only ones who work hard.. Lending support to a group of rich selfish bstrds. How pathetic you are.

Mind you, being so hard worked you will have so little time to answer this... Tood busy fiddling your tax and buying your merc... Seen it all before..

Ps, I run my own buisness...

  • Good work! I can almost hear Gordon sweating. Not a nice sound...

  • By the size of the debt, I think your children will be paying for it too love !

  • Bang on! Brown spends not for Britain, but to save his own career. He ain't worth it.
