Wow, requiring animals to have clean water and necessary veterinary care is unreasonable! I mean, IT'S SOCIALISM! Next thing you know, those old people are going to want us to pay them money so they can support themselves when they're no longer able to work! Where's the Tea Party? Stop elderly care!

Responsible breeders who treat their animals like family are the ones targeted here! Educate yourselves and VOTE NO on Prop B!
VOTE YES ON PROP. B NOV. 2 if you care about how dogs are cared for. Prop B provides laws to punish neglect and abuse of dogs at Missouri dog breeding facilities.
@47sthompson Is it true that Missouri has more licensed dog breeders than California or Texas? Sweet!! If this law passes we'll only be about 15th out of 50 states in a couple years. At least we're still #1 with meth labs.
i have enough of seeing discusting things in puppy mills. There are responsible breeders out there. let them take care of your pets. Not the puppy mills. vote YES on prob B if you want to stop animal cruelty!!
Yeah, he looks like a trustworthy guy!! (NOT!) If you can't see the biases in this video, you might want to be checked for a learning disability.
Higher taxes from a $600,000 expenditure?? Well yes but to an almost infinitesimal degree. Think about it for yourselves: divide 600,000 by the entire tax base of the state of Missouri. Do you think that will make a difference in anyone's monthly bottom line?? No...none. And the payoff?...the protection of animals from cruel & inhumane treatment.
@Ephesians6now My comments are not bigoted or racist. I don't need to justify your misnomer. The large scale breeding philosophy is hundreds of dogs relegated to small wire cages without access to grass, sunlight, fresh air, or individual attention all for profit. That sounds like a concentration camp...or a slave ship...to me. If your racist remark refers to American slaves brought over from Africa, you should study world history. My ancestors were slaves and they were not African American.
@ephesians6now Re your supply/demand comment: there is a demand for drugs in this country (scrip&non). Does that justify Mexican cartels? They only supply what we want. Does that justify price-gouging by US pharma companies? Prop B should be the beginning. Neuter laws should be enacted. Hoarding should be punished more actively. Responsible small-scale breeders should be rewarded. Demand for something does not justify ANY old method for supply.
We animal rights fanatics are only interested in welfare.I've seen first-hand the product of puppy mills and large scale breeding facilities. There should be no such thing as a large scale breeding facility. That is a fact as I see it. Dogs are PETS.They become FAMILY. You might as well be slave-trading when you mass produce without any regard for pedigree, blood lines, health and - above all - a love for what you are helping to create...impossible when you have hundreds of dogs reproducing.
@Ephesians6now "Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;"
Interesting passage, Ephesians 6.Sounds like slavery to me...how do you interpret it?
And sticks and stones...I am no bigot. I am no racist. And you saying it doesn't bother me at all. Just like your nazi philosophy of manufacturing dogs doesn't bother you.
The truth is over-production and greed. If you breed more than 10 mother dogs in your possession at any one time you are a MILLER...a BACKYARD BREEDER. You run a concentration camp for dogs. You should be ashamed of your greedy self.
There is a way to STOP Puppymills--but punishing ALL Responsible Breeders is NOT the way. Corporate Control is NOT the way! Making our State and USDA people accountable IS the way! Another ? for doubters--Why does this bill leave out unlicensed breeders and hunting dogs? I have seen hunting dogs in horrid conditions! This bill may sound good--but it is a HSUS Power grab in disguise!!! I appreciate my American Rights and Freedoms and do not want them stripped away! Please Educate Yourself!
@msmofoxtrot You are a bit ignorant on rescue organizations and it only makes sense that a disreputable one would open in MO. It seems the MO dog culture have no regard for anything but MONEY. Visit HUA.ORG It is in Nebraska.
And what fine print? Have you actually read the statute? It is clear with NO FINE PRINT. Post the language to which you refer.
@shadetreeenterpirses The real problem is MO is the number one puppy mill state in the US. If that is because of illegal facilities outnumbering legal ones, then Prop B must pass. The breeders of your state have not done anything to mitigate their competition and many - yes, many legal breeders - have adopted lower standards to compete. Those of us in rescue/rehabilitation have fought and waited for decades for change to occur, for the conditions to improve. this is the time.
@farsidesoprano Are you saying that there is not one good breeder in the State of Missouri? Would you allow that the money spent to push this bill would have been better spent paying for a couple USDA inspectors or local animal control officers? That could take down the sub-standard rather than make the people who do things as good or better than is required of them. Are you so blinded by the HSUS commercials that you cannot see that not every apple is bad?
The HSUS and most rescues have the wool pulled over everyone's eyes. They are making a killing off of our empathy. There is a rescue that opened up around here by some of the most undesirable people you can imagine. Before they never worked and had nothing. But now are buying new cars and a new house . They pick up dogs from shelters and breeders and say they rescued them and then they put them on Petfinder for $200.00 each. If only you could see this facility ! Just another scam !
I did not know what American Pet Registry was and I went to the website and noted that it supports breeders etc and I guess they make up the registry that a pet is and gives them a certificate. They go to all breeders functions. Now, I don't care if a group of people get together and talk dogs. They are trading and selling their breeders and looking for other pets to buy to breed. This is their forum.
So, now I know why they want no,they want no inspections.
@babsie1952 I have read a lot of your comments posted about this video. You keep telling people to check the facts. The fact is that you must have a proven pedigree to register with APRI, however they do offer a way to register a mutt if you will, as a service to pet owners under another registry that is APR. Why, you ask? For identification, should the dog be stolen or lost or in custody battles and other legal matters.
@babsie1952 Perhaps if you came down from that pedestal your on and asked some questions you would have know that. No one supports sub-standard kennels and cruelty to any animal. However, it is hard to support a prop that only seeks to limit ones rights. What could have been done for the dogs if the HSUS had given the money spent on prop B to local law enforcement to go get the true offenders instead of seeking to hurt every dog breeder, good or bad? Just a thought.
@ShadeTreeEnterprises Yes I agree and the HSUS is planning on this being a choice people make automatically without thinking it through or reading the fine print. It is an emotional response we have when we see abused or neglected animals. How many billions have they collected from us ? And it has not been for the animals but their fat pockets. Everyone needs to open their eyes.
@farsidesoprano Prop B does effect even the very best of breeders by requiring double the space for each dog. I know a couple of larger breeders that have nearly new facilitates that were built above USDA regulations that will not be legal if this passes. The problem with this bill is it really won't help the puppy mill dogs as most of them are not licensed in the first place. There has to be a better way. Prop B isn't it.
@47thompson What does "water broken twice a day" mean? And having just that and heat in the winter...that's your idea of taking good care? That is truly pathetic.
@47thompson You are wrong about rescue groups only focusing on puppies. Visit HUA.ORG. They take in all ages and do their best to find them homes. And I want adult dogs. I have adopted 5 adult dogs. Of course you wouldn't know about that being a miller - only interested in what a dog can produce for your income. You kill the non-producers, don't you? So what do you care about the adoption possibilities?
@farsidesoprano You seem bent on proving your intellect to everyone. Perhaps, you could define what is a "puppy mill" in depth. I would like to know what you perceive that to be.
@ShadeTreeEnterprises My intellect is what it is: my grammar is good, my spelling is excellent and I am educated in the area of this discussion. You are obviously lacking as you cannot even "google" PUPPY MILL. I know what it is...and that includes any "large-scale facility" regardless of being licensed. See my post above for additional remarks.
BTW - how does landscaping figure into Prop B? Or do you manufacture puppies on the side?
farsidessoprano, Yes i raise dogs, but I take very good care of my dogs. They have heat in the winter and water broken twice a day. The millers are the ones that are not licensed, they are the ones that will keep on breeding.
@58thgreatest - Hitler? Really? What is more Nazi-like...let's think. Thousands of sentient beings relegated to cages with a complete lack of humane treatment or a guy working tirelessly to abolish these concentration camps? Hmmmmm.
@47sthompson We take puppies to senior dogs and those with special needs, they are all animals to us, not breeders or sellable property. You do not know what you are talking about and we are going to buy adults, thirteen of them next week.
@paintball164 & @babsie1952 - thank you for posting,,,so glad to have added voices in the YES department...and thank you for mentioning your vet and her observations on "licensed" breeders.
@47sthompson - it is moot whether the breeding dogs are adopted. The millers are killing them regardless with over-breeding and neglect. It has to STOP.
And what - help YOU with money? You're a miller, aren't you? SHAME ON YOU. Can't wait to see you out of business. You don't give a crap about the dogs in your care...greedy hack that you are.
@farsidesoprano ,YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.MY DOGS ARE HEALTHY AND WELL FIT.ASK MY VETS,USDA, AND STATE PEOPLE WHO INSPECT ME TIME AFTER TIME AND FIND NO FAULTS AND SAY MY DOGS ARE WELL TAKEN CARE OF.I TAKE CARE OF MY DOGS FULL TIME 24 HOURS A DAY 7 DAYS A WEEK.I SURE DON'T SEE YOU WORKING THAT HARD.IF YOU VOTE YES ON PROP. B YOU ARE GOING TO HURT THE GOOD BREEDERS AND KEEP THE UNLICENSED BREEDERS IN BUSINESS SELLING MISTREATED PUPPIES!WHAT'S NEXT NO RAISING CHICKENS OR COWS?
@47sthompson HSUS is a no kill facility but this has been done in other states, you have to realize this. Rescue groups will foster the animals until they are adopted and the shelters will do the same. There is a program to locate animals to other areas to be adopted. People just have to comply with regulations.
There are grants from companies and they assist. We have been doing this all along with our breed, rehab from licensed breeders who dump their dogs or auction them.
@paintball164 Profanity will be removed - we encourage BOTH proponent and opponent viewpoints. However, we have removed comments that display profanity ... which was recieved from opponent's posts. Note to opponents: Please repost without profanity.
YOU are killing them already. What is the bad part in improving the conditions under which these dogs live? It is ONLY about money with you people. You do not love your dogs - you are simply greedy hoarders. Good for HSUS for using their clout to outspend you and your "group effort". The YES vote is flooding Facebook and every other outlet. Get your tax dollars ready.
@farsidesoprano The vet for our rescue group, Dr. Toliver, just did a blog for Prop B
and listed all the other supporters. She inspects all the puppy mill dogs we receive and it is horrible what is given to us and sold at USDA inspected Auctions.
These are licensed breeders that dump their dogs when they cannot breed anymore.
We even pay for some to save them from cruelty. This is driven by greed and a high percent state with puppy mills. Can't wait to see Hunte be checked.
You people voting Yes on Prop. B are u going to adopt the dogs that are going to flood Missouri. I don't think HSUS is going to house them. So what is going to happen to them. They will be killed. So VOTE NO PROP. B and let the kennel owner take care of their dogs, like they have been in the years pass. It is only going to hurt the licensed breeders. not the unlicensed.
@47sthompson We are preparing for this , with fosters, thru rescue groups,
associations that will keep them until adopted. They will be placed in no kill
shelters throughout the United States thru grants of National Organizations that will not cram them in cages and will neuter them so they do not overbred.
They will not be killed. The kennel owners have not been taking care of their animals.
@47sthompson Your argument is flawed. First of all, there is a year gap between when Prop B passes and when it will actually go into effect. This should be ample time to find homes for the extra dogs. You are correct, the HSUS will not house them, but local shelters will to the best of their ability. However, an even better idea for those using the "THEY GONNA DIE!" fallacy: spay them, Very simple. Then they no longer fall the jurisdiction under this Prop.
It will affect all breeders, but mostly those who are over-breeding, in-breeding or just plain disgusting and dirty.
With the exception of some people I know who breed show-dogs, other breeders are only in it for the money.
I would love to have an American Cocker Spaniel, but the breeders have destroyed the breed. Nice dogs but they all have rage disorder, skin problems and around the age of 2, they start getting chronic ear infections.
Animal Agriculture? Are you kidding? How can you be so blind to what is all over the internet about puppy mills? How can you "love" your dogs and keep them in wire bottom cages off the ground? Your vet is a hack. How can you not give mother dogs access to the outside? If a puppy freezes it's because YOU are not vigilant and maybe you have TOO MANY PUPPIES. I have adopted 2 survivors of your "love"-I know firsthand the effect. You shouldn't be allowed to sell dogs & your animals should be removed.
The really scary part of this is that most people DO NOT seem to understand that the Animal Rights people won't stop with dogs in MO. Next it will be your cattle, hogs, horses...etc. Then it is on to the next state. They are very effective at marketing the bill of goods they are selling. The goal is not help the dogs, it is make sure your right to own, breed and sell all animals, any where is stripped away. This isn't just about dog breeders, it is about your rights....
puppymills are moving, Wisconsin sent them out. So if these laws assist animals, good. Them there Animal Rights people do care about living things so yeah, you need to hide in your storm celler. It is about rights, animal rights and the cruelty
@babsie1952 Am I to understand that if you are a proponent of Proposition B you are an intelligent person, conversely, if you are an opponent of Proposition B you are an ignorant person who only lives any place that might require a storm shelter? It seems to me that maybe if "them there Animal Rights people" would curb the emotional outbursts and work with good breeders we could, together, rid ourselves of those who don't take care of the animals they have.
How about for once we as Americans stand up for our rights. How about we stop waiting for others to protect our rights to raise our animals in a respectful way.If you dont think this effects you then sit in your bubble and say nothing untill the knock comes and its your animals that are being hauled away.
Stand with us ..one voice is but a whisper.Together our voices are a mighty ROAR
@Toriturttle These laws have been passed in many states and the economy has not failed, no one came in and knocked down the doors and took anyones animals.
@Toriturttle I see what you are saying. Back in 1998 I actually made a living breeding roosters for cock fighting. The state shut me down on a Prop B type rule. Before that, back in the 1980's I got paid good money as a seal clubber in Canada. The Obama type tree huggers stopped that. Now my pit bull kennel is under threat. Wake up America
Profanity will be removed - we encourage BOTH proponent and opponent viewpoints. However, we have removed comments that display profanity ... which was recieved from opponent's posts. Note to opponents: Please repost without profanity.
Vote NO on Prop B! The few people you ever do hear about running puppy mills are the ones that are doing it ILLEGALY. Which means they do NOT have a USDA license and do not have the facilities up to the code the USDA puts down.
Like stated. It will cost over $600,000 of tax payers money to limit and enforce this law that affect the majority if not all of the legal USDA breeders that do have the facilities to breed puppies, yet still in the background, the ILLEGALS will continue!
farsidesoprano----They're also requiring mother dogs with young puppies to have unrestricted access to the outdoors---what's going to happen when a tiny puppy gets outside with her in the freezing cold? It will DIE! Puppies have to be kept in a constant, warm environment. That's why there are kennel buildings designed to keep puppies safe, dry and warm. You're wrong about your comment on puppymills----people raise dogs because they enjoy it. Not all people that raise dogs are puppymills!
@CoryEM that is right,i raise them cause i love them,it is a 24/7 job.but people don't understand how much time a good breeder spends with their dogs.if prop. B passes it will force all good breeders out cause we have spent several thousands of dollars to have our dogs taken the best care of and if this prop. B passes we can not afford to do the changes that the HSUS are wanting.do you know 1% or less the hsus take in is used to help dogs.they are no good for USA !
Oh please with the HSUS and one per cent mantra. Don't use statistics that are not
correct. Breeding is a business and all businesses have changes. If it is the better for the animal, good. But most of the complaints are that you can't sell and get an income.
@babsie1952 HSUS WON'T BE HAPPY TILL ALL ANIMALS ARE RUNNING FREE.THEY WANT TO STOP HUNTING AND IF YOU CAN'T FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEMS THAT WOULD CAUSE YOU MAY NEED A BRAIN TRANSPLANT .IF PROP. B PASSES WHAT IS NEXT ,NO MORE COWS OR NO MORE CHICKENS BEING RAISED IN CHICKEN HOUSES.IT IS SAD YOU AND OTHERS ARE ARE CASTING US GOOD BREEDERS IN THE SAME BOAT WITH THE BAD BREEDERS THAT WILL NOT PAY ATTENTION IN PROP. B PASSES CAUSE THEY DON'T ABIDE BY THE LAWS ALREADY IN PLACE .THIS PROP. B IS BAD
@farsidesoprano ,you don't know the truth about prop.b.i raise dogs because i love them and who better to raise dogs then the ones who love them.i work with my vets and they all agree the dogs are cleaner and healthier in the pens off the ground cause on the ground that is where the problems are and my state ,usda and vets say my kennel is very well kept and i take care of my dogs.i send 3000 a year just getting my pups and dogs checked and if prop B passes it will keep the wrong ones in.
@MrDub1967 So its okay to stand on wire all day long just because you have the cage off the ground. You should keep you kennel up, big deal, I am sure good dog breeders do this without complaining. I don know what is going to be kept in.
But quit complaining for havind to be a good dog breeder.
@MrDub1967 being rude isn't helping your case I stopped reading your comment after you insulted me. if you're trying to convince people to join your side let me give you advice don't be a jerk to them.
Missouri needs to WAKE UP, and See what is happening right in front of our eyes!!! We are being put through an animal holocaust in a very deceptive way! Like Hitler did, Wayne Pacelle is saying Vote my way, and I will make sure everything will be done right!.... The people Vote for it not knowing that they are voting for the elimnation of all animal agricultere in any way shape, or form!! Thats right Folks, your Vote YES is a Vote to the death of Animals! If you care about DOGS VOTE NO NO!!!!!
It's time to stand up for our economy, our State and our rights and VOTE NO on PROP B ! I can not imagine what this will do to Missouri if this passes. Please VOTE NO !
@babsie1952 Once again you show your arrogance and lack of understanding. This is an emotional and heart wrenching issue. Would you not agree that this bill will hurt the very best of breeders and do nothing to curb those that are not. There in lies the problem. Good breeders don't want sub-standard kennels either. They love their dogs and don't like see dogs suffer either. I have purchased 4 dogs from breeders over my life time. All of those have been good experiences with happy healthy dogs.
This man is a raging lunatic. If he offers you Kool-aid, DO NOT DRINK IT!

@farsidesoprano You seem bent on proving your intellect to everyone. Perhaps, you could define what is a "puppy mill" in depth. I would like to know what you perceive that to be.
ShadeTreeEnterprises 1 year ago
@ShadeTreeEnterprises My intellect is what it is: my grammar is good, my spelling is excellent and I am educated in the area of this discussion. You are obviously lacking as you cannot even "google" PUPPY MILL. I know what it is...and that includes any "large-scale facility" regardless of being licensed. See my post above for additional remarks.
BTW - how does landscaping figure into Prop B? Or do you manufacture puppies on the side?
farsidesoprano 1 year ago
farsidessoprano, Yes i raise dogs, but I take very good care of my dogs. They have heat in the winter and water broken twice a day. The millers are the ones that are not licensed, they are the ones that will keep on breeding.
47sthompson 1 year ago
@58thgreatest - Hitler? Really? What is more Nazi-like...let's think. Thousands of sentient beings relegated to cages with a complete lack of humane treatment or a guy working tirelessly to abolish these concentration camps? Hmmmmm.
I can almost see the swastika on YOUR arm.
farsidesoprano 1 year ago
babsie1952, The rescue groups at auctions will not buy adult dogs, only puppies that they can sell. No one wants adult dogs.
47sthompson 1 year ago
@47sthompson We take puppies to senior dogs and those with special needs, they are all animals to us, not breeders or sellable property. You do not know what you are talking about and we are going to buy adults, thirteen of them next week.
So don't speak what you do not know.
babsie1952 1 year ago
@paintball164 & @babsie1952 - thank you for posting,,,so glad to have added voices in the YES department...and thank you for mentioning your vet and her observations on "licensed" breeders.
farsidesoprano 1 year ago
@47sthompson - it is moot whether the breeding dogs are adopted. The millers are killing them regardless with over-breeding and neglect. It has to STOP.
And what - help YOU with money? You're a miller, aren't you? SHAME ON YOU. Can't wait to see you out of business. You don't give a crap about the dogs in your care...greedy hack that you are.
farsidesoprano 1 year ago
MrDub1967 1 year ago
@MrDub1967 You don't have to worry if your are keeping you dogs so well
Just because someone is USDA inspected doesn't mean they are a good breeder
so don't let it bother you.

BABSIE1952, You can't tell me every dog is going to get adopted out. Is the HSUS going to help with money?
47sthompson 1 year ago
@47sthompson HSUS is a no kill facility but this has been done in other states, you have to realize this. Rescue groups will foster the animals until they are adopted and the shelters will do the same. There is a program to locate animals to other areas to be adopted. People just have to comply with regulations.
There are grants from companies and they assist. We have been doing this all along with our breed, rehab from licensed breeders who dump their dogs or auction them.
babsie1952 1 year ago
@babsie1952 "with our breed"? Did you just admit you are a breeder?

Respond to this video...HSUS helps with Puppymill rescue all along in all states.

Classic Republican. Against everything that makes sense and creates a better community.
paintball164 1 year ago
YOU are killing them already. What is the bad part in improving the conditions under which these dogs live? It is ONLY about money with you people. You do not love your dogs - you are simply greedy hoarders. Good for HSUS for using their clout to outspend you and your "group effort". The YES vote is flooding Facebook and every other outlet. Get your tax dollars ready.
farsidesoprano 1 year ago
@farsidesoprano The vet for our rescue group, Dr. Toliver, just did a blog for Prop B
and listed all the other supporters. She inspects all the puppy mill dogs we receive and it is horrible what is given to us and sold at USDA inspected Auctions.
These are licensed breeders that dump their dogs when they cannot breed anymore.
We even pay for some to save them from cruelty. This is driven by greed and a high percent state with puppy mills. Can't wait to see Hunte be checked.
babsie1952 1 year ago
You people voting Yes on Prop. B are u going to adopt the dogs that are going to flood Missouri. I don't think HSUS is going to house them. So what is going to happen to them. They will be killed. So VOTE NO PROP. B and let the kennel owner take care of their dogs, like they have been in the years pass. It is only going to hurt the licensed breeders. not the unlicensed.
VOTE ON PROP. B NOV. 2

@47sthompson Thank you for your post...This is a Group effort and the key to our success
mglass2020 1 year ago
@47sthompson Thank you for sharing your thoughts!!!
mglass2020 1 year ago
@47sthompson We are preparing for this , with fosters, thru rescue groups,
associations that will keep them until adopted. They will be placed in no kill
shelters throughout the United States thru grants of National Organizations that will not cram them in cages and will neuter them so they do not overbred.
They will not be killed. The kennel owners have not been taking care of their animals.
babsie1952 1 year ago
@47sthompson Your argument is flawed. First of all, there is a year gap between when Prop B passes and when it will actually go into effect. This should be ample time to find homes for the extra dogs. You are correct, the HSUS will not house them, but local shelters will to the best of their ability. However, an even better idea for those using the "THEY GONNA DIE!" fallacy: spay them, Very simple. Then they no longer fall the jurisdiction under this Prop.
Please READ Prop B, VOTE YES
Reason4U2Die 1 year ago
@47sthompson You have that completely wrong.
Teriiqua 10 months ago

ShadeTreeEnterprises 1 year ago 3
@ShadeTreeEnterprises You are so right, other states are passing these laws and
puppymills are moving, Wisconsin sent them out. So if these laws assist animals, good. Them there Animal Rights people do care about living things so yeah, you need to hide in your storm celler. It is about rights, animal rights and the cruelty
against them.
babsie1952 1 year ago
@babsie1952 Am I to understand that if you are a proponent of Proposition B you are an intelligent person, conversely, if you are an opponent of Proposition B you are an ignorant person who only lives any place that might require a storm shelter? It seems to me that maybe if "them there Animal Rights people" would curb the emotional outbursts and work with good breeders we could, together, rid ourselves of those who don't take care of the animals they have.
ShadeTreeEnterprises 1 year ago
How about for once we as Americans stand up for our rights. How about we stop waiting for others to protect our rights to raise our animals in a respectful way.If you dont think this effects you then sit in your bubble and say nothing untill the knock comes and its your animals that are being hauled away.
Stand with us ..one voice is but a whisper.Together our voices are a mighty ROAR

Vote NO!

farsidesoprano----They're also requiring mother dogs with young puppies to have unrestricted access to the outdoors---what's going to happen when a tiny puppy gets outside with her in the freezing cold? It will DIE! Puppies have to be kept in a constant, warm environment. That's why there are kennel buildings designed to keep puppies safe, dry and warm. You're wrong about your comment on puppymills----people raise dogs because they enjoy it. Not all people that raise dogs are puppymills!
CoryEM 1 year ago 6
@CoryEM that is right,i raise them cause i love them,it is a 24/7 job.but people don't understand how much time a good breeder spends with their dogs.if prop. B passes it will force all good breeders out cause we have spent several thousands of dollars to have our dogs taken the best care of and if this prop. B passes we can not afford to do the changes that the HSUS are wanting.do you know 1% or less the hsus take in is used to help dogs.they are no good for USA !
MrDub1967 1 year ago 3
@MrDub1967 You are spewing facts that are incorrect. You need to go to the financial statement HSUS has to file and you are incorrect.
This is from the financial statement: Eighty Four per cent to programs
Programs: 84% Fund Raising: 12% Administrative: 4%
It certainly is not one per cent.
babsie1952 1 year ago
Oh please with the HSUS and one per cent mantra. Don't use statistics that are not
correct. Breeding is a business and all businesses have changes. If it is the better for the animal, good. But most of the complaints are that you can't sell and get an income.
babsie1952 1 year ago
B IS BAD

I think you mean vote YES on Prop B...that is if you truly want to save dogs.
2010 Initiative Petitions Approved for Circulation in Missouri
Statutory Amendment to Chapter 273, Relating to Dog Breeders
2010-085, Version 1
A puppy mill may be technically "legal" but it is NOT RIGHT OR HUMANE.
farsidesoprano 1 year ago
@farsidesoprano ,you don't know the truth about prop.b.i raise dogs because i love them and who better to raise dogs then the ones who love them.i work with my vets and they all agree the dogs are cleaner and healthier in the pens off the ground cause on the ground that is where the problems are and my state ,usda and vets say my kennel is very well kept and i take care of my dogs.i send 3000 a year just getting my pups and dogs checked and if prop B passes it will keep the wrong ones in.
MrDub1967 1 year ago 3
@MrDub1967 So its okay to stand on wire all day long just because you have the cage off the ground. You should keep you kennel up, big deal, I am sure good dog breeders do this without complaining. I don know what is going to be kept in.
But quit complaining for havind to be a good dog breeder.

@MsMoFoxtrot You mean stand up for YOUR income. You are only worried about your income. I have not once heard you be concerned about the dogs.
This is what we have problems with. Whats next, selling our children and
saying it is okay.
babsie1952 1 year ago
@babsie1952 Once again you show your arrogance and lack of understanding. This is an emotional and heart wrenching issue. Would you not agree that this bill will hurt the very best of breeders and do nothing to curb those that are not. There in lies the problem. Good breeders don't want sub-standard kennels either. They love their dogs and don't like see dogs suffer either. I have purchased 4 dogs from breeders over my life time. All of those have been good experiences with happy healthy dogs.
