I love the collection of photos you managed to pull together! She shows a more somber side in a lot of her music, so to see her smiling and laughing is a treat indeed. The song you chose does support what you are trying to show, but is there no KD Lang song you could have chosen? So many people will put up a tribute to a particular singer and then use someone else's song to do it. I would love to be hearing KD Lang's beautiful voice while looking at her pictures. Not a slam; just my opinion

She looks much more comfortable in her skin now. I've just come from her beautiful performance of Crying at the Hall of Fame 1989, when she was 'required' to wear a dress, and she looked very uncomfortable.

She is an artist, not a catwalk model, and she should be allowed to wear as she pleases.She is very beautiful :-)

When KD was first starting out in Canada she won her first of many awards.She ran up to the stage wearing a long white wedding dress and old boots !!! she was young and wild and from the prairie,she looked comfortable and was havin a great time.She is too old to get away with that now,not that she would want to but when she was young and just in canada she was truly wild !!

I recall her wearing a frock which was something like a wedding dress plus boots I think, and she was so irreverent, and fun loving. For me she was really making a statement about intending to be herself, not a product of the marketing dept.

There was another frock I think for the winter games, sort of a cowgirl thing, the complete antithesis of what we women are supposed to make ourselves up to please society (men). It was her spectacles that so shocked me out of my complacency.
