I went from the K-on! version to the Evangelion version then quickly moved on to the 1971 original and after that this version. I like the upbeatness in this one and the same for the K-on! version, Evangelion. Original is good nonetheless.

There are a couple of problems.

1. K-on! released their version of this song before Evengelion 2.0 came out.

2. This video was uploaded before Evangelion 2.0 came out.

3. According to comments from other videos, this is a common song sang by school choirs. You could find covers dating back to at least the 60's (Which is not only before the Rebuild of Evangelion series, but before the original Neon Genesis Evangelion)
