  • Dr. Williams seems to bring a sexy charm to classical organ music. We all caught her 'wink' of the eye as she came to the end of Widor's piece....hmmmmmm..!!! Interesting finaly.

  • She was one of thos people who were trying to show off by increasing the tempo. Would have been better at normal tempo. Also, what's up with the little wink at the end? Lol

  • What a pity that Boellman's Suite Gothique was deleted...

  • YOU ARE SIMPLY SUPERB!!!!!!

  • Sweet!

  • Was für eine Orgel, was für ein Klang!

  • @schuldistkult Es ist eine Klais-Orgel... :D

  • @McKenna1701 Ja, hab´s gelesen! Ist ein richtiges Monster von Orgel! Sowas wünsch ich mir im Wohnzimmer :-D

  • When those arpeggios go into the left hand I always come unstuck

  • Milf

  • What is the name of the music, please? Very good player

  • @portmodeltrains Toccata from the 5th Symphony for organ by C.M. Widor

  • beautiful. a true celebration of music.

  • Evil instrument.

  • Please tell me what is that melody?

  • THAT'S the largest organ in all of Russia?? Don't get me wrong, it's gorgeous, and it's big. But hell, all over Europe and the states that's only a "medium" size for us. I'm dizzy after watching that BTW.

  • @flyurway Bigger egos too...and nothing sounds better than a Wurlitzer-D go figure.

I'm just curious if Russians ever made electronic organs.

  • @paulj0557 That's not a russian organ, it's a german pipe-organ from Klais in Bonn.

  • Love the wink at the end!

  • wonderful, majestic, triumphal, heavenly piece from the organist extraordinaire, the lovely Carol Williams!

  • A beautiful, wonderful Klais organ. Excellent organist!

  • Inspirational ! Beatiful too !

  • Is it just me or does she jizz at 2:58? Awesome video.

  • seems the cameraman comes from the porn-industry...

  • @FreshFreak01-- Dumb Ass stament to pull out of your ass...

  • Largest organ in Russia? I don't see Arvydas Sabonis anywhere in the video.

  • I listened to Widor's 1932 recording before I found this. I am absolutely breathless from this wonderful performance. THIS is THE tempo.

  • Super gespielt.... Was ist das für eine Orgel? Manufacturer? :-)

  • @Orgelwahn . Schau mal in der Laufzeitanzeige bei1:24. Da siehst Du, dass es eine Klais-Orgel aus Bonn ist.

    Zufrieden?

  • @Orgelwahn Klaisorgel aus Bonn

  • That gave me goose bumps!!!!! You are too cool for school! x

  • Amazing the lower regions she is hitting there in combination with the high such harmony !

  • Love this woman XXX

  • Very goods Organ & Organist! And widor' s toccata is best!

  • Even though I am a tuba player and I love the Tuba, the pipe organ is by far my favorite instrument, and carol is by far my favorite organist. I enjoy listening to her play even more than tubist Roger Bobo and Qystein Baadsvik!

  • Carol, I am sure I've told you of your DIRECT role in my inspiration to play the organ. WELL. I have moved to CT to take classes with some rather exceptional individuals.. And I can play that now!!! amoung other fascinating, and historically significant works. Thank goodness for passion. and thanks to you.

    Eva Cavaillé-Coll

  • @MrsAlexisClyde Eva, San Diego shall miss a wonder soul.

  • Le clin d'oeil de la mort qui tue!!!!!

  • @1erutan Oganist grande, oui?

  • she is the best organist

    wonderful

  • This is the piece that I am looking for a long time.

I heard it in an Abbey after a mass. May I know the

    title of this music?

  • @Japanese1970 Charles Marie Widor composed this. It's the Toccata from his Symphony in F.

  • very good organist, except when i play it i play it on my school letourneu organ, and a little slower.

  • This always makes me think of one perfect Spring day with a bright beginning and end and a quickly passing storm. It's full of movement, light and air, energy and life. No matter how rotten I can feel, Widor and Dr. Carol and this performance just make me get moving again! For me the Toccata is his most "celebratory" work, and no one animates it like Dr. Carol. Thank you... I wish I could have heard this live, too!! Even if it meant literally being a spider in a web in a corner somewhere...

  • BIG Organ!!!!

  • PERFECTION, wonderful organ with a wonderful organist!.. Russia must be proud to have her. Beautifully done. Timing was perfect. a little slower than Virgil, but then nobody could compare with him.

  • Orgasmic Dr Carol

    XXX

  • Absoulutely tremendous

  • Beautiful instrument indeed

I guess taste differs, but I find this rendition rather boring. It is after all the finale to a symphony. My personal favourite rendition of this work is that of Jonathan Scott on the organ of the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester

  • How does this instrument works?

  • I got goosebumps!

  • She should play MY organ! go milfs go!

  • I just had an eargasm

  • Absolument merveilleux

  • Exciting peice! One of my favourites. With all due respect, Very lovely organist...well done!!!

  • Great! but that last high note seemed slightly out of tune as she increased the volume on the final ensemble. I listened to it several times but maybe it's my hearing. Where was that organ built?

  • Wonderful!!! And a very nice organist! :) Especially at the end! Great! :)

  • Zeus of the instruments! Wow!!! Makes me tremble!

  • Fantastic!

  • see her smile!

  • made in germany indeed!

  • Amazing, simply Fantastic. Thank You!

  • Made in Germany ;)

  • If ears could have screaming orgasms mine would be so exhausted right now!!! This is nothing short of glorious.... Widor's "Toccata" never sounded so good!

  • Noch nie eine solche Oragnistin gesehen/gehört, die auch noch so sexy ist. Könnte ihr stundenlang zuhören/zusehen.

  • magic hands.....

  • it makes me want an organ. but it's a little bit to big i think. lol

  • Let's see your feet on the pedals.....

  • What's the dislike bar doing here?

  • @kitty6837 Exactly. What is it doing there? This is A++ work.

  • The most clear performance of the Toccata that I have ever heard! Wow! Mazeltov!

  • Its a shame really how we are unable to see sound (without the aid of hallucinogens). Im sure if one was able to, those last few chords would be blinding

  • @McBearPEI

    It's Widor's toccata from the 5th symphony.

  • man you cant even see it when you play it...

  • @BellVideo @jschroeder1991

This organ has only 81 stops (106 ranks, 5,582 pipes), which isn't big at all, but the Kaliningrad Cathedral organ apparently consists of two organs that can be played together. The bigger organ alone has 6,301 pipes, which is more than the International Performance Center organ, and together the two organs in Kaliningrad count 122 stops and 8,525 pipes.

  • @aidavdbrake I like the "only 81 stops" to me that would be quite a large organ.

  • @BellVideo

Jschroeder is right. The 2002 Klais-organ in the video (International House of Music) has 87 stops, the new (just finished) 2010 organ at the Dom church in Kaliningrad has 90 stops.

  • I like how this woman plays the organ so passionately!

  • A+ for organ playing. F- for camera work.

  • Very tallented and well played Dr. Williams. It's the best that I've heard from you soo far. exceptional Organist -- and I liked the wink at the conclusion.

  • Beautiful !!!

  • Awesome performance on a great sounding organ; I liked the wink at the end too...very nice.

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Carol is the best concert organist in the world, and a charming woman to meet in person. If you have the opportunity to hear her perform in San Diego's Balboa Park on the Spreckels organ, don't miss it.

  • this is such an awsome upload

  • I wish the camera person would have stayed out in the hall all the way through the piece then we could heard the entire organ.

  • YOu're an excellent organist, Carol. Just beautiful. A pleasure to listen to this composition.

  • Could some of that smile be from playing such an exceptional instrument in a world full of neglected one?

I know I feel amazing everytime I come back to playing my old school's Marimba One.

  • mighty fine. gives me goosebumps. Both the organ and organ player are easy on the eyes. :)

  • Very fine looking organ indeed, but, this is the largest in all of Russia? Surprising, that with all of the great Russian composers, Rachmaninof, Prokoffief just for starters, with their incredible contributions to classical piano, no one in Russia really bothered much with the organ? Go figure.

  • Wow... Dr. Carol... beautiful... I'm astonished... no more words... only Music... Your Music!!!

  • You must be.... "You are" a great human being. It needs a lot of effort, studies, practice to play an organ.... not to mention the level you are playing it...

    This is an art...

Love your music... Love you by only watching 2 videos....

    You are my new god.

  • Brilliant!,,,and this is just a rehearsal!

  • very very very GOOD !!!! Thank you.

  • good

  • i wonder if playing on that level - when the whole mind and the body is occupied with one big thing, that requires rhythm, awerness, but also soul - doesn't have to be a litte bit like joyful sex? is there something hidden in playing organ like "mindgasm"? i wonder, because only listening can already be so satisfying! :)

  • I think that there are better analogies to describe happiness than mindgasm.

  • @VampyresTV

I completely agree, Vamp. Isn't there a very orgasmic quality to almost every impassioned organists bodily expressions in the very intense, emotional climax of a musical piece? Especially that of French romantic music. I believe that Dr. Williams has a very special connection with the sounds she produces. I believe that this sort of sound permeates deep within the souls of those who love it. Making a deep and forever lasting mark in our hearts.

  • The best play Widor's toccata in my opinion. The keybord are electric or mechanic?

  • If this is the best, then I have no business listening to his music.

  • After all of that great music...someone's worried about what kind of shoes you wear?...lol (joke)

Another... odd question, If you have memorized a piece and you know it VERY well, do you "space out" and just enjoy the piece. or still have to concentrate very hard....or the other extreme, does sheet music come very natural to you, music just flowing out of your fingers then through the pipes?

  • the end is great!!!

  • Wrong: Music is art and a SCIENCE,

just like Architecture and Math go toghether, JS Bach showed to us that long time ago.

  • The design of this organ reminds me the on inside Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale. Except this one is more beautiful.

  • You certainly put a lot feeling into your playing because it shows!

  • ...im proud to be russian

  • That song is in RollerCoasterTycoon 2 O.o

  • A visual and aural feast, a most vibrant performance! Thanks for posting this

    .Best regards from Scotland!

  • Oh--what a delicious flirt she is. She just won my heart. Finally an organist with (do I dare say it?) sex appeal. I'm in love. If she did a series for TV, I'd watch. She has just the right presence and charisma to become a major figure like E. Power Biggs with a few curves thrown-in. This is the kind of person the organ community desperately needs.

    Where is PBS??

  • Thank you. Someone who agrees. Beats the old man you normaly see stood at the organ (appologies to my organ teacher lol).

  • Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway, in addition to all the other wonderful stuff about her and the performance, as an added bonus she has the piece memorized, too.

  • that's definitely NOT the largest organ in russia.

russia's largest organ stands in kaliningrad.

  • The timeless majesty of Widor given the full dimension of sonic and visual delight. That music which stirs the pipe-dreams of the imaginative soul.

  • OMG...

    Miraculous musician...And gorgeous too!

  • Perhaps it's me but I always think her pacing is in constant flux; a work is never rigid, despite a Toccata requiring to be so. However, this may be what she intends the listener to think.

She's a foxy minx though. That wink at the end is so self assured.

  • Absolutely gorgeous! BRAVO!!!!!!

    5/5

  • qusta si

accidenti bene chi ha messo questo video in contrapposizione

  • Bravo Carol.

Probably one of the best versions of the WIdor Toccata i've ever heard.

A real pleasure to listen to your playing.

  • This is the best I have heard thus far. Exceptional organist -- and I liked the wink at the conclusion.

  • 'pipe organ ????

  • yes?

  • wow I would've had loved to had hear this live

  • Wow!! wonderful music! Great Organist!! Beautiful Woman!! 5 *****

  • I love the Widor. Wonder if she has been ever self challenged to record all of the Widor Symphonies?

Question on the left shoe: I've noticed the white part on the heel-a slight extension, helper or similar of sorts?

    Good luck always

  • Yet again I say this, I love Carol Williams, she can play just about anything! and really good too!
