there is video in which hyenas has defeated lions that does not mean hyenas are more stronger than lions. same case is with elephants and lions. Lions when does not have any other mean then only he attacks elephant he knows that to attack elephant its very dangerous. And in the above video the elephant was not fully grown she was about 8 yrs and Elephant's adult age starts from 12
in reality Elephant do not have any natural predators, elephants are real owners. but its only in botswana this has happened. But now botswana's group of 3o lions has been vanished. and now elepahnts are ruling there. the lioness with the name heera has now died. Now Elephant rule is there
I can use grammar so correctly because I'm a lot smarter than you. Trust me on this one! The fact that a leopard took in some other baby animal isn't any motherly instinct otherwise it would happen more often. The very reason it was filmed is because it rarely if ever happens outside of that one case even if the leopard notices an animal without its mother. Thats why you don't see a bunch of leopard trapsing around with other baby animals. As I said, that in and of itself shows they know better
Nature my ass. These animals know better. They just don't give a damn. Want you to youtube a wildlife documentary filmed by Dereck and Beverly Joubert. It's called Eye of the Leopard. It's about a leopard who kills a monkey and then becomes guilted when she realizes she has killed the mother of a helpless baby monkey. The leopard switches gears, turns around and adopts this baby monkey as her own and cares for it. It shows that the nature excuse is pure bullshit. These animals know better!
@Tonetare No they don't. Animals react own instincts, not conscious. Most social animals kills the former offspring to make their own, in their image.
@Tonetare I watched it, and that wasn't out of guilt that the leopard adopt the baboon. Not even in the documentary did they mention that the leopard felt guilty, because apparently, it kept eaten the mother. It's similar to the how the lion adopted the baby antelope. It wasn't out of guilt, but compassion.
@Dattebayo04 Stop right there at "compassion". you wrote AND I QUOTE "It wasn't out of guilt, but compassion." COMPASSION EQUALS A HUMAN EMOTION. Your first comment to me read and I QUOTE: "You can't apply human emotions to the animal kingdom." Compassion is a human emotion. So you yourself have just contradicted your own argument that you used in supporting your position of "I can't accusing this lion of evil behavior." You now need a new reason to tell me I can't label the lioness as evil
@Tonetare No, they do not. Animals literally lack the part of the brain which produces what we call emotion. Well to an extent, its so small it hardly has the same purpose. Animals are driven by instinct and function, not emotions as we humans are. What you described with the leopardess is an example of "motherly" instinct. My guess is it was a young leopardess who merely understood that monkey was an infant that needed care.
@PoonReturns Fascinating post but I must debate you on it. If that's the case, then why do adult leopards ravage baby impalas and Thompson's Gazelle's, ripping open their guts and eating their innards and drinking their blood. Surely, if what you're saying is true, motherly instinct would have kicked in with all the other baby animals leopards kill like impalas. Personally, I think these animals know what they're doing wrong and are evil. Look at domesticated animals like dogs. They know better.
@Tonetare For being able to use grammar correctly, you should be less of an imbecile. A leopard will kill an animal and eat it to keep itself alive. The fact that a leopardess took in a another species as its own IS its motherly instinct. The other animal had no mother and the leopardess did not feel fulfilled instinctually so the event fulfilled both of the animals' needs. It isn't going to take in every child it sees rather than sustain itself. Also, domesticated animals are DOMESTICATED.
Great documentary with intriguing information. Also, I love these slow motion shots. Very well put together. What a bitch that male lion is who killed those young cubs. That was so sad. And their father loved them too. It's those females who are the real demons. The females would still mate with the murderers of their own damn cubs?! Rolls eyes! Elephants are hilarious by the way!
@Tonetare You can't apply human emotions to the animal kingdom. It's 100% nature and survival of the fittest. Lioness mate with the strongest males to protect their young, so it's beneficial. Lions aren't the only animals that does this. In the animal world, males kill other babies to make their own in their image. It isn't evil, it's nature, and natural selection.
Us humans need to learn a lot from the Elephants too. Actually raising our children rather than ditching them for drugs.

I totally agree with the narrative,
elephants should teach the lioness how to run a happy family.
