What beautiful and very fortunate hounds. I have 4 retireds/rescues at moment and have lost more. It hurts so much to lose them but I will never stop adopting. Greyhounds melt your heart. Thankyou for being such a great Dad to them. Hope you still are to others.

I'm going to buy a house, but it won't be big & I'm worried that I won't be able to have the room for two greys in it, altough I am resigned to the idea of sitting on a chair while they enjoy the sofa... Anyway, thanks for posting your girls. Hope you have new babes, a new challenge & lots of love.
Your dogs were clearly as happy as it was possible for a dog to be in the loving home you gave them. It hurts like hell that we have them for such a short time - we wish that we could all be transported with our dogs to the next life, but that's the pain of this world. In some sense, your poopydogs had their fill of love, returned in full, then made space in your life for their brothers and sisters. A loving tribute and I hope you will always continue to care for more greys.

that brought a tear to my eyes but i can relate to how much theese dogs meant to you!..i have a 8 year old rescue yorkie whos been with us for just over 2 years and she just been diagnosed with kidney disease and the vets have told me theres nothing can be done!...shes my baby and i love her so much and am dreading the end as i know my heart will be broken!....happy christmas to you anyway x
Oh that is soo sad I hate hearing sad stories about dogs but I have two greyhounds and just two weeks ago i heard we have to put one of them down and then we heard that we had to put the other one down too but we dont have the guts! But I hate to see them suffer!

Made me cry too. It's hard falling in love with our animals because we know they won't be with us for a very long time, so we can only love them and enjoy them as much as we can for their short time on this earth. That was a beautifully put together memento, RIP PoopyDogs.
