I have a class with a tactical shield, and it's really awesome, if you don't use it in the front, it covers you in the back, and it blocks everything, bullets of sentry guns, copters, harriers, weapons, it's just awesome !

I've had a sentry gun placed on me in search when i was mucking about with the riot shield. I just waited till it did nothing after the +500 points stopped coming the knifed it for an extra 1000 points xD then i ended up knifing 2 guys and c4ing the last guy to clutch the round lol. technicly a riot shield isnt particualy bullet proof, used for defending against rock, controling a crowd, often made from high strength polymers. a tactical shield is to a better extent bulet proof. often made of some form of metal or layerd composite with a ballistic glass window..

thats the diffrence.
