  • YES SIR! Stripped down vocals never sounded better!!!! BE THE RAY! BE THE RAY!

  • This is a dreat video!

  • Keep it up Gatorrock. There's no such thing as a bad Ray Price tune.

  • Love it! Can't help but wonder "where all" Ray had been--probably a seemingly never-ending tour.

  • Steve Bess on the shuffle...

  • Glip, you mean Ray at his best. The Danny Boy/For the Good Times/EZ listening Ray was, to quote Bill Monroe, No part of nothin.

  • This was filmed when Buddy Emmons was still co-owner of SHO~BUD with Shot Jackson. SHO- for Shot, and BUD for Buddy, co-founders of the Sho-Bud Steel Guitar company.

  • Beautiful! Now thats some down home country!!!

  • Country Ray at his best.

  • I love this music! Ray Price is the best!

  • The Derailers did a good remake of this song

  • Don Helms was Ray's Steel Player for a little while after Hank passed away.

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • ...and Darrell McCall on bass

  • Thanks for posting this. I love how Ray is already singing deeper as early as 1962 and making it look so effortless. Now I know that's Buddy Emmons on steel, but who are the other Cherokee Cowboys backing Ray here? They're all great!

  • @jfrankley55 In addition to Buddy on Steel, That's Tommy Jackson on fiddle, and Pete Wade on guitar & high tenor harmony.

  • @Gatorrock787 ...and Darrell McCall on bass

  • What a lovely video! Thanks a lot for sharing it! Ray is an amazing singer.
