  • Can i replace regular "All-purpose Flour" for Japanese "Hakuriki-ko"? would it come out as close (lightness) as Japanese one?

  • @yumiz108 i think you can try ;) it might rise a bit more, but the cheese is heavy so i don't think it makes a big change.

  • @ll29794035974 yes. for the safety! hehe

  • your talking oven is really impressive. asians make the best cooking electronics!

  • @Fatymaae yes they are with cream. sometimes chocolate, strawberries, coffee, and more flavors ;)

  • Those are really cute!

  • Great recipe. Looks really easy. I love the music in all your videos.

  • @EmperorMAD i am happy to hear that :)

  • Ochikeron,

I just discovered your channel and I immediately subscribed! I have a question for you...what shining spray or product do you use on you hair? I would love to know. :D Thanks!

    Your fan from Morocco!

  • @mystiquemorocco thank you! i use Kérastase. please search my blog for more info ;) i made a post in the past.

  • Ochikeron D: What kind of butter do u use the butter with salt or without salt? D:

  • @OosafiroOo for sweets people recommend unsalted butter but i use salted one because it's cheaper. haha

  • @ochikeron ;D Thanks

  • can you add anything into the cream cheese mixture? like chocolate chips?

  • @mizzpunk05 yes ;) chocolate chips sound yummy!!!

  • You look like Tiffany from SNSD ^^

  • Do I have to smash them inside of a ziplock bag? haha ~ i'm totally not serious.

  • How much is 3 tablespoon flour? (in grams)

  • @Kuroakumashitsuji about 24grams

  • Luv this. I will make this. Im glad I found u. I subscribed to you

  • This is the easiest cheesecake I've ever made. The recipe can easily be customized. I used cinnamon graham crackers and added just a bit more sugar to the filling. This is my go to cheesecake now. I made it twice in a weekend. Thank you!

  • Thank you so much for posting this video(: I'm planning on making this for New Year's; can't wait to see how it turns out!

  • I made this today and instead of vanilla wafers,i used coconut crackers.I didnt have lemon juice or flour but it turned out great and delicious! My family and friends complimented me on how great it tasted :)

  • @animeasiangirl thanks! i am happy to hear that :D

  • レシピーありがとう!昨日作って、美味しかった。でも、大量はちょっと正確じゃないと思う。私はこれの方が小さいもの作ったのに、クリームチーズは350gでよくなった!ちょっとおかしいじゃない?

  • I Just made one and everyone loved it!!! :) sadly, i didnt get a chance to take a picture of it...it didn't last long :( will bake another one again next week :D

  • I don't know if anyone has asked this yet, but where did you get your whisk? It looks like it is very easy to use. Great tutorial by the way! Very informative and the song is pretty catchy too.

  • what's the difference between softened butter and cream cheese between just regular butter and cream cheese?

  • @SweetLolitaStocking With the both being softened it makes it easier for the mix to come out smoother and creamier. Believe me, I know from experience. You want at least the cream cheese to be very soft so you don't get those little lumps of hard cream cheese in your finished cheesecake.

  • Woah! Ovens in Japan are so futuristic!

  • I made this today and it turned out really well :) thanks for the recipe~

  • What kind of oven is that??

  • no water base? can u give mi cup measurement?

  • Can I leave out the lemon juice cause i'm allergic to citris.

  • I want a talking Japanese oven...

  • I love eating cheesecake I'll try this

  • It's nearly 4am and I'm HUNGRY lol >_<

  • I'm pretty sure new york cheese cake doesn't use flour in the custard (which is why it looks so brown and has no cracks) and typically uses graham crackers as the base.

  • O.O your oven talks

  • woooah, japanese talking oven. It looks super high-tech and advanced! The japanese have thought of it all.

  • wow i would want u to make food for me everyday and listern to your cute voice :)

  • Omg the oven talks??

  • If we cant find fresh cream/whipping cream, can we use milk?

  • i am going to prepare this on my boyfriend's family gathering. i hope they would like me... ekhem, i mean this cake :D keep your fingers crossed! ^^

  • Yum!! I will try this in the near future! It looks so easy to make ^_^

  • wow the oven can talk

  • @SuperDaniellol It's Japanese.

  • This is different from my cheese cake because I use sour cream and no fresh cream. I tried making it your way and can say I enjoyed your recipe for cheesecake just as much (if not more) than my own recipe! The use of vanilla wafers is good also.

  • awesome recipe i'm going to try it ,What type of oven do you use?

  • @xantho00 it's a steam microwave oven, but it is very old that i got 7 years ago... the model is national NE-SS30A (now panasonic)!

  • Thank you for replying...to my comments...cheerio...ochikeron

  • i like ur cake,look dilicious!

but can u reduce the use of plastic bags, thanks!^^

  • I made this a few days ago and it was delicious! Even my father loved it, and he is not a fan of sweets :)

  • @Blackmetalstudios tks ;D your dad is like my darling. hehe

  • めっちゃ美味しそうですね!!

    これなら配れたりするのでいいですね!!

    いつも楽しみにしています!

  • OMGOSH I LOVE YOUR TUTORIAL XD thank youuuu

  • Your outfits are always so cute! :) Anyway, if you bake your cheesecake in a waterbath, it'll prevent it from browning on top. "New York style" cheesecake is just one that uses a lot of heavy cream. I've made New York and Sour Cream style cheesecakes, and they both turn out well, though I prefer a graham cracker crust and a waterbath when cooking. Can't wait for the next video! :)

  • o haha I thought I was watching runnyrun video but this is good too

  • vary good, and your oven talks to you to....cool beans

  • Not really sure how I ended up following you but I like it

  • THE OVEN SPOKE xD

So Japanese ovens talk to you?! Thats amazing!

That cake looks so good too!

    Thanks for sharing ^_^

  • lol you burnt it xD

  • Please make this/another recipe vegan for the environment, animals, and your health.

  • @OrganicLiz never meat and egg are sources of omega 3, protein.

Animal protein provides more essential amino acids then vegetables, take any first year nutrition course and you will learn this. Haha but yeah you will not die from not eating meat but still, it's natural animals eat meat in nature we are basically animals. There are lots of vegan recipes online.

  • its very interesting that you added whipping cream to a cheese cake batter and you used wafers for the base. It seems lighter than the typical American cheesecake. I actually made an attempt at Japanese Cotton Cheesecake, that I posted on my Facebook page.

  • That looks really interesting, I have never seen a cheesecake made this way - I will have to try it!

  • I can't eat egg...Is there anything I can use to replace the eggs?

  • @gracelay05 i don't think so for this recipe. but you can find some other recipes without eggs on the web if you google ;D hehe

  • Thank you for this :)

  • Ochi I have a challenge for you!! I dare you to make cake pops using COOKIE MIX instead! -cauz I keep buying cookie mix instead of cake mix by accident at the store Lol!- tank ya^^'

  • Wow. it's gorgeous.

  • why is japanese eating so much good food and not gain weight... :p

  • @supertrex2 i think we stick with quality not the quantity. so that is why?!

  • @supertrex2, Japanese cuisine is generally more healthier than American cuisine.

  • That looks so yummy:)

  • チーズケーキめっちゃ好きやねん!それ100個送って〜!

  • @Daichen それって生徒の分?!w

  • @ochikeron いや、俺の分!w

  • Looks delish!! ...You made me think about the song "Birthday Cake" by Cibo Matto when you were saying the ingredients...lol :) ....Extra Sugar! Extra Salt! Extra Oil! MSG!!!!

  • Yummy! Yummy! Ochi! I honestly did not know that Cheese Cake had any popularity in Japan! Nice to know that we on both sides of the pond make this dish in a similar fashion! Nice and tasty!

  • للوهلة الاولى ظننت كعكة الجبن محترقة، يبدو شهيا بعد قطعه

  • at first i was going to say it looked burned, but once you sliced it i decided that toasty top made it look even yummier ^^

  • great idea using the vanilla wafers! i'll have to give it a try! all the cheesecakes i've made had a graham cracker crust. also just wanted to say i love the music in your vids! it reminds me of a video game i used to play called katamari damaci!!!

  • すごいいいい

  • @JadenENZ いつもありがとう!

  • OMG!!! I just fell i love with ur videos!!!...what song did u have playing???...I adore it!!!

  • has anyone else relised how bright colored japanese eggs are O.o

  • Hi I was wondering what kind of consistency this cheesecake has.

Since its hard to cut, is it similar to the consistency of NY cheesecake?

I once had 'japanese' style cheesecake but it was like a spongey cheesecake, which I like very much... :)

  • @cozycushins thank you! i just replied to the other comment but this cheesecake is japanese version of ny cheesecake. it is flavored in japanese way, so the consistency is almost the same (maybe bit soft).

  • Looks great.

  • yumm! it looks so rich and delicious :) I made the simmered potato and pork rolls and it turned out so good. My husband loved them.

  • @dignansgirl thank you!!! i am happy to hear that!!!
