  • wemplegr: Do you work in rescue? Have you ever rescued a dog? Have you ever been left behind all by yourself and were scared? Yeah the song was dramatic but until you've been in that situation or worked in rescue etc you really have no idea

  • PS LOVE the idea about petting the leash to show you're gentle and then trying to get the dog to smell you... I'll definitely try to remember that! :)

  • This is one of my biggest passions, finding dogs and trying to get them off the road. Bless you for taking the time... and you didn't just try for 1 minute and say oh well, u gave it hours to finally get this dog! The only thing that bothers me about rescue stories and videos though is that everyone assumes the dog was dumped. Unless you see someone throw a dog out the window etc, you don't really know for sure... dog could have been stolen and the owner looking or was adopted and got away

  • poor frightened little creature-bless her

  • We need more ppl like this man in the world!

  • Very touching. If only they could all be saved. *sigh*

  • Awww , I can't help but cry whenever i see thiis ))); the music makes me bwall my eyes out too ;@

  • I may have commented on this before, watched a few times, but this just melts the heart and is so AMAZING and so BEAUTIFUL. How ADMIRABLE♥♥♥

  • I'm gratified that there are people who have enough humanity to spend hours trying to rescue girls like Cora. In my experience (and I have lots of experience rescuing dogs AND children from abusive and/or neglectful situations), such people have compassion for unfortunate humans AND other species whose members are the victims of human beings' inhumanity.

  • sometimes i think doglovers love dogs more than unfortunate humans...

  • @Liztastaney7 Well, I do..

  • How could anyone abandon a dog obviously so dependent on them

  • She is really scared...you are right im prayin shel find a good loving home...

  • She is lovely. I hope she finds a good home.

  • I wish I could adopt this beautiful beautiful dog. Here's to you, friend. It has been said "whoever saves one life, has saved the entire world." Doesn't matter if it is an animal or a person, you have changed the life of that animal and its whole world. Way. To. Go.

  • I'm a puddle after watching this.

  • @Necak That's all you have to effing say? You are cold.

  • @wemplegr you just took the saddest song you could think of. yeah the situation is kinda sad for the dog itself, but don't try to overdramatic it. you're trying to much.

  • wow...... probably the most pathetic video on the whole YouTube?..... oh the humanity, where ahve you gon too far >< orz

  • @proudselect27 Why did you even choose to watch this video? YOU are effing cold. Go somewhere else.

  • what about homeless people, it's easier to save a dog than a human i guess......

  • Aww...So sad :(

  • Had a bit of a cry :(

  • Sans the shite music, this was pretty good.

  • wheres new new video's =)

  • Gracias a DIOS que existe gente buena como tu, vales oro como persona, eres grande, te felicito, amo la vida y amo los animales ! un abrazo !

  • Q hermosura, Que buena gente son. Héroes!!!

  • Wow this really got too me. People like you who respect and cherish are little(and big) creatures deserve nothing but praise and admiration. Thank you for this video and thank you more for helping this little guy get a good home. This made my day. Love your pets.

It hurts when they are no longer with you. Thanks again for reminding me to give my little four legged creature a big hug. Like you they are special.

  • Rescuing a dog will not change the world, but it will change the world of the dog you rescue!

  • 6 people are total A-holes...

  • @bullonay 6 people are total trolls, that is all....

  • thx for helping the poor thing!

who´s the artist of this song?

not the original artist, i mean her who sings it on this video

    keep up the good work!

and to all the religius bastards: no religion is for real, just the priest who wanted power to control the people...SO DONT TALK ABOUT IT HERE!

  • Nice work!!

  • The true Heroes of our world!

  • You deserve a ribbon for your great work. I have tears in my eyes. Keep up your good work. People like you are heroes in my humble opinion.

  • God bless you, Eldad - thank you for the wonderful work you do, and the inspiration you give to those of us who rescue dogs like Cora, and Edie, and Stitch.

  • <3

  • Who ever took the time to catch this little dog thanks for taking care of gods creatures. You are blessed my friend. Every living breathing creature has a right to live, for all these stupid comments You people are retards your comments don't bother me at all, it makes me feel SORRY for you like i just did for this little dog Cora.

  • What's wrong with people calling him nasty names if you were in trouble wouldn't u like someone to try and try again to save u

  • This video sorta makes me cry tears of happyniess. :*)

  • <3 i love you guys! :´)

  • @juki0h Why do you want its live to end? It should live!

  • @chloelion its suffered to much already, and keeping it alive will just make things worse.

  • @juki0h I'm sure that Cora would disagree with you, since she's happy, healthy, and has had her puppies.

  • Amazing

  • Since this video posted, I have been watching it every day not only because Cora is so cute and full of expression, but I am so very impressed by the patience and love of the man who rescued her! If more people were like him, how much more loving this world would be!

  • Your are the Dog Whisperer.....with the heart of GOLD.

  • over a million views on Godvine vs 38,000 on youtube .. makes you think

  • FANTASTIC ... I LOVE YOU PEOPLE

  • <3

  • facebook.com/pages/Coras-Comeback/112768512176396

  • when i watch your video... it's such parables of how god saved me and all of us..

  • I loved your video, it's corny but lovely at the same time!

    Keep up the good work!

  • Bless you.

  • i'n in New Zealand... otherwise I would love to take care of her

  • Oh, my goodness, this video made me treary eyed :') Thank you so much for rescuing her

  • @aekdbtony Don't be silly, it's a cute little dog.

  • Wouldn't it be great if we all treated one another with the kind of love and patience that was shown to that poor dog?

  • thank you for all you do, eldad, and god bless.

  • Cora rescuers, thanks for patiently and gently helping this weary little being. Religious arguers - come on. Christians, atheists, Sikhs, Jews, anyone can kindly rescue beings in need. Personally I'm just glad whenever someone does it. I don't spend time wondering about their theological underpinnings, and I'm REALLY sure the dogs aren't pondering that! Hmm, one more thing we can learn from them.... Peace all!

  • I'm sad to see bickering on a page for such an inspiring and loving video.

If anyone is interested in following Cora and her pups rather than debating religious viewpoints..check out her new Facebook page:

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays ♥

  • @allyfuranimals i cant find the web site, i copied and pasted the link u said and google cant find it, would so like to keep updates on cora as her story has really touched my heart x

  • @allyfuranimals Well said Ally, I couldn't agree more!

  • @allyfuranimals It's very sad but it's a sad world we live in today so what you have to do is ignore it like I do. Every now and then though I have to make a rare post like here, today, because I just found this channel today and I must say, what wonderful people they are to do what they do. People always ask animal lovers like me why I feel this way about animals and not people in general ? Well I think that question answers it's self with the very opening line of the video "Cora was abandoned"

  • Thank you for your compassion and caring for out furry soul family. Beautiful story. Last winter I met a skittish, elusive, ribs showing, starving dog like that in my neighborhood. His name is now Wyley and he has found his forever home ... with me and my 2 other rescues. :)

  • @wasabitobiko 1: It's hard to get four people to cooperate on anything. 2: Have you ever tried to catch a scared dog? It's not easy. 3: Self-serving? Really? 4: Thanks for not being a scrooge (read sarcasm here.)

  • @wasabitobiko The videos help others do similar rescues. They raise awareness and encourage donations for medical care and future rescues. Eldad uses techniques that work very well with scared, abused and abandoned animals. I guess people who are incapable (and probably envious) of the work others do just can't resist the temptation to be critical.

  • @wasabitobiko You clearly know nothing about dogs if you think surrounding it with more people, when it's obvious fear is humans, would be less traumatic. That would have been more traumatic. You should study dogs, their behaviors, especially what creates fear and how to use anti-aggressive gesturing to soothe a frightened dog. But really, in this case, use your common sense.

  • Wonderful!!! I have sent it around the world Bless you for caring so much your patience is incredible You are an earth Angel Hugs to you Ann in Canada

  • Thank you for saving her. She is beautiful..Your god's helper that is for sure. I am wanting to adopt a dog.

  • @cutecatibcaryn god's helper? A person doesn't have to be religious to care about helping dogs to find a loving, caring home. Jeez.

  • @b14blah Haha, I second that! I hate religious crap too!

  • @Mushuukyou God Bless you and Merry Christmas Mushuukyou!

This was a great video. Sad that people dump animals like this.

  • @KawaiiKittyHeather First off, I don't believe in your stupid imaginary friend you call "God". Second, I don't celebrate "Christmas", I call it Solstice! Winter festival time! It's better than Christmas because you don't have all that crappy overtone to it... :)

  • @b14blah Tsk, he or she is welcome to their views just as you are. No need to go knock someone. I surely don't knock you for whatever your views may be and with that Merry Christmas and God Bless.

  • @KawaiiKittyHeather I made a valid point in my original post if you care to read it again. 'god' is a failed hypothesis. I am sure that there are many religious people who help animals like this dog. Great...but a person does not have to believe in the supernatural to care about sentient beings. Religious thinking is part of the problem..consider that the bible perpetrates the lie that the animals were made for us. I used to be a believer...but I found freedom from religion.

  • @cutecatibcaryn I'd bet $5 the guy that saved that dog is an atheist.

  • Great work and great video. All the best.

  • Thanks for responding allyfuranimals. I was just wondering bc she looks a lot like my dog who is black. She is also a rescue who was found in a dumpster. She looks like italian greyhound mixed with something else so that is why I was wondering since cora looks alot like my chloe lol, except chloe is 17 lbs and I don't think chi's or italian greyhounds get that big.

  • i got kind of like wtf? at 3:09

  • My heart is touched.

  • Hello Cora fans =)

If you're interested in seeing how she is doing now, please check out her blog...with pictures of all THREE of her newborn pups!

  • MADE ME CRY

  • You are so wonderful! I think she should ride in the back seat, but that's just mho.

  • Cora had puppies last night :) :)

  • Just curious, does anyone know what kind of dog Cora is?

  • @srhsarah1

    Hi there!

My best guess is she is a Chi/Doxie...or perhaps Chi/Italian Greyhound. I've had a lot of people comment on her blog that she looks like their Chiweenie...and the pups have dachshund coloring. They are gonna be sooooo cute as they grow up!

Check out her blog if you haven't yet =)

    allysadoptables.wordpressDOTcom

  • you have a huge heart

  • I think its great what you are doing, and this video does show the love you have. I just wish people would do the same for their fellow man, like we are commanded to do by Jesus. Again though, its obvious to anyone who watches that you have a good heart, and its seems compassion is hard to find these days.

  • Beautiful...any updates with Cora

  • @michellemero

Hi Michelle! Lots of exciting updates on Cora here:

    allysadoptables.wordpressDOTcom

Please share her blog with you So Cal friends on Facebook for potential adopters for Cora and family =)

  • God bless you.

  • Who the fuck disliked this...

  • The sadness in her eyes, totally hurt the deepest part of my soul... :(

  • Poor doggy. She was so scared. My cat was rescue more than 12 years ago by a State Patrol. His ears had some frozebite. He's been with me more than 12 years and he is just wonderful. I can not understand how people can abandon their pets instead of taking them to a shelter.

  • I cry every time I watch this.

  • OMG ! You make me cry Thank you so much Eldad . You are such a fantastic angel !

  • Thank you for helping Cora. She looked so, so very tired.

  • Thank God for Eldad!

  • I relate so well to your efforts! I had a similar experience with a chihuahua in a supermarket parking lot two years ago. He did not stay under a car, but darted in and out of traffic. I was finally able to snag him with the help of a helper and her dog who peaked his interest enough to stand still and be picked up. He is now a Canine Good Citizen living with my 2 dogs and 3 cats! Good luck Cora and God bless you and all who do so much for the discarded animals of this world.

  • I cried i cried i cried and ten do you know what i did after that i teared very beutiful

  • Excellent - hugs

  • As always good job guys !!

  • What a beautiful video! Thank God there are wonderful people like you in the world to give these animals hope. I am in tears. God bless.

  • Awww God love her! <3 What a beautiful video!

  • This video made me smile :)

  • She was very tired

    You did an amazing job.

  • love

  • so

  • The person who dislikes this is sick

  • Sometimes, I forget how many good people there are in America...

  • In Eldad's defense he's rescued other dogs from similar situations as Cora and they've all gone on to live happy and healthy lives.

Cora is alive because Eldad cared enough to make sure that she knew that he wasn't going to hurt her again. Cora from what I can tell was afraid that someone was going to hurt her again which aroused my suspicions that she had been abused.

Eldad wouldn't be doing what he's doing if he didn't understand what dogs go through when they're dumped on the street.

  • Absolutely amazing video! Thank you so much for caring so much and taking such care with Cora. I hope you win the $250,000 and will vote and repost and tweet etc etc etc.

  • Oh my goodness, I sure got some dust in my eyes, too! That was beautiful! She looks exactly like a Chihuahua I used to have many years ago - and "You raise me up" music certainly added to the rescue! Wonderful to see, thank you!

  • Oh Cora, so happy that eldad75 came to your recue, lucky little girl......

eldad75 you have a great heart, thank you for loving Cora enough to save her. My heart was in my mouth.....I rescued Nina 2-1/2yrs ago......she is my best friend, I adore her, she was abused, but now she is so spoiled, gets all kinds of kisses, she let's me sleep with her in her queen size bed with her..lol God bless you..

  • @35777 We had something like this come up with a chiuaua once... big chiuaua she was so scared but we fed her lured her into the house and now my moms frreind named her and gave her a home. Our name for her was taco

  • Got a little dust in my eye... Snifff....:'(

  • i have rescued most of my babies(pet ) . i rescued a kitten from WalMarts parking lots. just a tiny little thing she was...so i named her Sammie after Sam Walton.

  • Touching story. God bless

  • i was touched i cryed :(

  • It looked like she was afraid that someone was going to hurt her again. :'(

  • @CelesteK --HI Celeste. I think you're right...she does seem to have been abused, She still gets 'flinchy' and has to fight the instinct to bite and flee. We also know now that some of her behavior was probably also her trying to protect herself and her PUPPIES! She's due to deliver around Christmastime ♥

  • @allyfuranimals It kind of makes you wonder who would do something as terrible as dump a pregnant dog, or any animal for that matter, on the street to fend for themself. :(

  • PS. Would love to see part 2, to see how Cora is doing. BTW, I love your coffee table book, Eldad.

  • Wonderful to see this dear soul gradually losing her fear. I pray that she will have a wonderful forever home soon.

  • All of these poor companions, lost or abandoned by their so-called families breaks my heart and make me so very grateful for our "kids", rescues all, and especially for compassionate people like you. Bless you for saving innocent lives!

  • Thank you for all that you do .You are an amazing person.

  • Wow... my respect and admiration go to you=) God bless you for caring the way you do.

  • omg I would so adopt this Dog if I didn't live so far away. THANK YOU FOR SAVING HER.

  • this one makes me cry....

  • You are such a wonderful person. I wish there were more like you..

  • Thanks for sharing

  • Thanks God there are people like Eldad. Unforftunatly mistreated animals are everywhere in the world. In Brazil there are so many homeless cats and dogs, that makes me very impotent and very sad.

  • i hope she is ok, living in a parking lot exposed to dangerous chemicals and abuse. god bless you eldad, for all you do.

  • Poor dog she was sooo afraid, after her rescue she looks so content, I hope everything is fine with her and hopefully she will find very soon a forever home!!!

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH ELDAD !!!!!

  • You´re GREAT!!!!! Thank´s

  • I understand how important it is when mistreated and malnourished animals receive proper help, it is important. How about the injured and sick human beings that are trapped an laying in ditches or near storm drains? How about the millions that have been displaced by wars? It is my understanding that human beings have more sympathy for dogs, than they do their own race. There is much to say about this, but truly, are we not all supporting it in one fashion or another, while doing very little?

  • @Jbarrtndrsr I respect how you feel but people can and do get help... and they can help themselves if they choose to. Dogs, on the other hand, are our companion animals who are helpless and need people to help them but it's heartless people who mistreat and abandom them that puts them in jeopardy. We all need to do our part to care for people and animals alike. Not one person can save the world but if each person did their part no matter how small, the world would be a better place for all.

  • My Cassie is wagging her tail. 1 tail up! Thank you for doing this.

  • Eldad.. you are so devoted to saving animals that you dont care if you look silly crawling under cars, or feedng stray dogs. you just want those animals to be safe. this video has touched me, and most likely others. well done.

  • Way to go Eldad, another amazing rescue!

  • Eldad ur awsome and ur a hero van u tell me the song name?

  • @Animefreak20141 The name of the song is posted right underneath the video, with a link to buy it, if you wish.

  • Eldad - I followed this little girl's story on the ICARE Foster and Volunteer Facebook page. I was heartbroken when initial attempts to rescue her failed, due to her intense fear and distrust of humans. When I heard you'd been succesful in capturing her, I was so happy I cried. Thank you so very much for your incredible patience and love for these "forgotten dogs"!

  • Shared. Eldad, you are an amazing person. I know that God blesses you with your amazing ability to reach the unreachable. Thank you for your tireless work and I will be making a donation thru Chase (even though I don't like them having access to my personal info). This is definitely worth it. Blessings!

  • Heartbreaking ! Poor little puppy , Eldad for president of the World ! Be blessed Eldad for your holy work.

  • Eldad for president!!! As usual, another amazing job! BTW... you are so right about taking the bites no matter what. Once, I rescued a tiny 3 lbs. Chihuahua that was in the middle of traffic. I jumped out of my car and motioned for everyone NOT to move. I held my breath as I attempted to grab her for fear she would run across the street into oncoming traffic. She tried to bite me but I held her close to my chest and she settled down. She had no tag or chip but got lucky and found owner.

  • Even if you spend so much time helping dogs, remember... God will always remember what you did for so many lives. And those dogs will never forget what you've done for them.

  • I WANT HER I WANT HER I WANT HER I WANT HER I WANT HER I WANT HER

  • Who are you, amazing angel? May the light of grace shine upon you, now and forever.

  • Thank God for such loving and kind people !

  • My version of Heaven will be filled with all of the puppy dogs like Cora which didn't get help in time. I am going to switch my monthly donation from the ASPCA to The Forgotten Dog Foundation. I already volunteer my time there so I am certain
