  • @devilsrain729 He would not survive. This was the era of the vaudeville and burlesque comedians and auditions for spots on the tonight show. Burns with or without Gracie would dessintegrate Giraldo.

  • RICKLES STILL LIVES!

  • Imagine if Greg Giraldo walked out with his act back then?

  • what a line up - the only guy missing is Foster Brooks! fantastic stuff, I wish they did this in the UK

  • this was REAL humor! not the crap like today.

  • How sad most of these guys are no longer with us and entertainment has gone down the tube

  • Smoking inside, drinking whisky and getting drunk in public, being able to give a woman a back hander if she spoke out of turn. Ah, those were the days……..

  • To continue I would love to get together with other like minded people and do them all over again while dismissing PC. Obtaining permission from the copywrite owners first. These roasts were put on in pre-cable tv days. Today if people don't like with they don't have to buy them if they were aired on a premium channel or Pay per View. I'd take part reguardless of any negative response,Just saying!

  • I love the Comments about these roasts almost as much as I love watching the roasts. A lot of comments talk about how the roasts are greatest shows of all time with the greatest of actors of time. The Comments also talk about how not PC they are. If they were on someone would end up in court and or prison and apologizing for not being sensitive while writing a 7 figure check to some greedy bastard who is hiding behind the law so they don't to work for a living.

  • These vintage shows are wonderful. Wonder if they had the jokes written for them, or if all of that was inspiration of the moment. If it was, I wish I had the millionth part of their wit for wise crack remarks and one liners. My stomach hurts sometimes from laugther.

  • I'm thinking Frank Sinatra for President and Dean Martin for Vice President. So I guess I agree with President Reagan on thata statement!

  • "i'm a sex symbol, in case of emergency, get me a girl" LOL

  • WoW!!! George Burns (January 20, 1896 – March 9, 1996)

  • these guys had the time of their lives! what it life it must have been. we salute you, and rest in peace.

  • do you have all the roasts on here

  • did you feel that earthquake? lmao

  • A young George Burns only 81...

  • of all those actors, dean martin would have made a better president

  • @iago68 I think Red Fox would have been up there... not necessary better but a lot more interesting LOL

  • One more thing God bless Ronald Reagan and Red Fox

  • these are pioneers. CLASSIC!!!!!

  • Great clips

  • where's part 6?? did you leave it out on purpose or by accident?

  • they will hang his zipper in the hall of fame

  • lol, Dean Martin is drunk as a monkey.

hilarious show though, this was truely the golden age of entertainment.

  • @Robstrike I have always heard that Dean's "drunkness"/ was mostly an act part of his schtick

  • @char4him99 it was. same with foster brooks.
