Keep in mind with TurtleSale that they refrigerate their stock turtles (baby RES, painteds, ect) to save costs and slow growth, this causes a high mortality rate.

They do not do this with rarities, wild caughts and less kept stock. This is why the others were more likely to survive.

@TheTurtlelover09 I find turtles the size of the tiny ones at a lake I ride my bike at constantly taking them off the road and sidewalk cause off cycling people and me haha caring for one that is oddly completely albino I have called the wildlife fund in Mississippi and they said to contact the zoo that they could take him do you think that is the right thing or should I wait like they said it will take week till they can send me thing to ship him to a special place for albino's

I have 2 new Red Eared Sliders I just bought about a week ago, and their shells seem soft. I know I should have a uvb lamp which I do but some people are saying even soft shells for baby turtles is bad? Is that true because I thought baby turtles shells were supposed to be soft.
